Description
次に、本発明の効果を更に明確にするために、以下の実施例に係るタイヤ及び比較例に係るタイヤを用いて行った実施例について説明する。なお、本発明はこれらの例によって何ら限定されるものではない。
電子機器の位置が異なる3つのタイヤを用いて、パンク時の電子機器及び固定部材の不具合の有無を検証した。
実施例に係るタイヤ及び比較例2に係るタイヤは、タイヤがパンクした際、電子機器7と固定部材8には、異常が見られず、タイヤのパンク修理後、そのまま電子機器7を使用することができた。一方、比較例1のタイヤは、タイヤがパンクした際、電子機器7及び固定部材8が破壊し、タイヤのパンク修理後、新たにパッチと電子機器をタイヤに装着しなおすことが必要となった。
Claims (7)
- 一対のビード部と、タイヤの内面上に装着された電子機器と、を備えるタイヤであって、
前記ビード部には、リムと接するリム接面が設けられており、
タイヤ周方向と直交し、かつトレッド幅方向に沿った断面において、前記電子機器のタイヤ径方向外側端部は、前記リム接面のうちタイヤ径方向外側に位置する外側リム端部から前記外側リム端部における前記ビード部の厚み分だけタイヤ径方向外側に位置する基準位置よりも、タイヤ径方向内側に位置し、
前記リムは、前記ビード部のタイヤ径方向における最も内側の面を支持するリムベースと、前記ビード部の外面を支持するリムフランジと、前記リムフランジを前記リムベースに固定するビードシートバンドとを含み、
前記電子機器のタイヤ径方向内側端部は、前記リム装着時に、前記ビードシートバンドのタイヤ径方向外側端部よりもタイヤ径方向外側に位置する、タイヤ。 - タイヤ周方向と直交し、かつトレッド幅方向に沿った断面において、前記電子機器は、前記ビード部のタイヤ径方向内側端部よりもタイヤ径方向外側に位置する、請求項1に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記リム装着時に、前記リムのタイヤ径方向外側端部を通りかつタイヤ径方向に対して直交する仮想線とタイヤの内面との交点をX、前記電子機器のタイヤ径方向外側端部を通り、かつタイヤ内面に対して直交する仮想線とタイヤ内面との交点をAとした場合に、
タイヤ周方向と直交し、かつトレッド幅方向に沿った断面において、タイヤ径方向におけるXとAとの距離A−Xは、AがXよりもタイヤ径方向外側に位置する際には、50.8mm以下である、請求項1に記載のタイヤ。 - 前記電子機器は、固定部材を介して前記タイヤの内面に装着されており、
タイヤ周方向と直交し、かつトレッド幅方向に沿った断面において、前記固定部材のタイヤ径方向外側端部は、前記基準位置よりも、タイヤ径方向内側に位置する、請求項1に記載のタイヤ。 - タイヤ周方向と直交し、かつトレッド幅方向に沿った断面において、前記固定部材は、前記ビード部のタイヤ径方向内側端部よりもタイヤ径方向外側に位置する、請求項4に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記電子機器のタイヤ径方向内側端部と、前記ビード部のタイヤ径方向内側端部と、のタイヤ径方向における距離は、76.2mm以上である、請求項1に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記電子機器及び前記固定部材のうち、少なくともいずれか一方は、着脱自在に前記タイヤ内面に装着されている、請求項4に記載のタイヤ。
