Description
Claims (4)
- 押出機の押出金型から押し出されたセラミックバッチ材料で作製される押出物の形状を制御する方法において、
ある温度を有するセラミックバッチ材料を、押出金型に直接隣接する押出機のキャビティを通して流すステップであって、前記キャビティが中心軸を有しかつ前記セラミックバッチ材料の外周を画成するものである、ステップと;
前記セラミックバッチ材料の前記温度を、その外周を通して、複数の位置において、局部調節するステップと;
温度調節された前記セラミックバッチ材料を前記押出金型に通して押し出して、外表面を有する前記押出物を形成するステップと;
外表面の、異なる方位角的な位置を有する複数の位置において、前記押出物の温度を測定するステップと;
測定された前記外表面の温度に基づいて、前記セラミックバッチ材料の前記温度の局部調節を制御して、前記押出物の形状を制御するステップと
を有し、
前記セラミックバッチ材料の前記温度を局部調節するステップが、前記セラミックバッチ材料を、その周囲を通して局部加熱することを含み、
前記局部加熱することが、
複数の加熱素子を使用して前記局部加熱を実施し、各加熱素子を、前記複数の加熱素子の各々にもたらされる電気出力の量によって規定される温度にすることと;
前記加熱素子の温度を測定することと;
前記測定された加熱素子の温度を制御ループにおいて制御することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記セラミックバッチ材料の前記温度を局部調節するステップが、前記セラミックバッチ材料を、その周囲を通して局部冷却することをさらに含み、前記局部冷却は冷却剤を流すことによって行い、前記冷却剤の流れおよび前記押出物の温度の少なくとも一方を、前記外表面の複数の位置の前記測定された温度に基づいて調節することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記押出物が実質的に均一なシリンダー形状を有するように、前記局部加熱および局部冷却を不均一に適用することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記押出物が、湾曲を含む形状、ある厚さのスキン、および少なくとも一種の欠陥のあるスキンのうちの少なくとも1つを有し、前記セラミックバッチ材料の前記温度の局部調節の制御を、前記湾曲を制御すること、前記スキンの厚さを制御すること、および前記少なくとも一種のスキン欠陥を減らすまたはなくすことのうちの少なくとも1つを行うというやり方で実施することを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
