Description
ところで、ブレーキペダルの操作量を検出する二つの操作量検出手段(ストロークセンサ)と、ブレーキペダルの操作を検知する操作検知手段(ストップランプスイッチ)と、を備え、二つの操作量検出手段のうちいずれか一方が故障した場合には、いずれか他方と、操作検知手段とに基づいて、ブレーキペダルの操作量を検出し、回転電機の回生制動力を制御する技術が提案されている。この技術によれば、二つの操作量検出手段のうちいずれか一方が故障した場合でも、ブレーキペダルの操作量に対応する回生制動力が回転電機によって生成される。これにより、二つの操作量検出手段のうちいずれか一方が故障した場合でも、運転者に与える違和感を小さくできる(例えば、特許文献1参照)。
上記実情を鑑みて、本発明は、費用が嵩んだり、制御手順が複雑になったりすることなく、操作量検出手段が故障した場合でも、運転者に与える違和感を小さくできるブレーキ制御装置を提供することを目的とする。
このようにすれば、操作量検出手段が故障しても、第1の検知手段が操作を検知した時に予め定めた第1回生トルクを回転電機に設定し、さらに、第2の検知手段が操作を検知した時に予め定めた第2回生トルクを回転電機に設定する。これにより、回生制動力が段階的に増大するので、操作量検出手段が故障した場合でも、運転者に与える違和感を小さくできる。
このようにすれば、第1の検知手段にストップランプスイッチが流用され、別途、第1の検知手段を設ける必要がない。
このようにすれば、第2の検知手段にクルーズコントローラ解除スイッチが流用され、別途、第2の検知手段を設ける必要がない。
また、本発明の一態様では、油圧を使用した油圧ブレーキと、前記操作量検出手段とは異なる検出方法でブレーキペダルの操作量を検出する油圧制動検出手段と、前記油圧制動検出手段が検出した操作量に対応する制動トルクを前記油圧ブレーキに設定する油圧制動制御手段を更に備え、前記油圧制動検出手段は、ブレーキペダルの踏み込み量を前記油圧の変化量として検出し、前記操作量検出手段は、ブレーキペダルの踏み込み量を電気信号として検出することが好ましい。
このようにすれば、回生ブレーキに異常であっても独立した機械式ブレーキが通常通り作動するので違和感を小さく出来る。
また、上述した本発明の実施の形態で説明した実施形態では、所定の回生トルクと最大回生トルクの2段階に設定するとしているが、これに限るものではなく、例えば3段階以上の複数の設定パターンを有するようにしても良い。
また、上述した本発明の実施の形態で説明した実施形態では、クルーズコントロールスイッチ42がオンになった時にジェネレータ9に予め定めた最大回生トルクを設定するとしたが、これに限るものではなく、例えば第一回生トルクの2倍のトルクにするなど、第1回生トルクよりも高いものであれば良い。

Claims (4)
- ブレーキペダルの操作量を検出する操作量検出手段と、
前記操作量検出手段が検出した操作量に対応する回生トルクを回転電機に設定する回生制御手段と、
前記操作量検出手段の異常を判定する異常判定手段と、
前記ブレーキペダルが予め定めた第1の操作量を超えて操作されたことを検知する第1の検知手段と、
前記ブレーキペダルが予め定めた前記第1の操作量よりも大きい第2の操作量を超えて操作されたことを検知する第2の検知手段と、
を備え、
前記回生制御手段は、前記異常判定手段が異常を判定した際は、前記操作量検出手段からの情報を無効にし、
前記第1の検知手段が操作を検知した際には、予め定めた第1回生トルクを、
前記第2の検知手段が操作を検知した際には、前記第1回生トルクよりも大きい予め定めた第2回生トルクをそれぞれ前記回転電機に設定する複数の設定パターンを有し、前記第1の検知手段及び前記第2の検知手段により検知された操作に応じて段階的に回生制動力を増大させることを特徴とするブレーキ制御装置。 - 前記第1の検知手段は、自動車のストップランプを点灯させるストップランプスイッチであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のブレーキ制御装置。
- 前記第2の検知手段は、自動車の定速走行を解除するクルーズコントローラ解除スイッチであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のブレーキ制御装置。
- 油圧を使用した油圧ブレーキと、
前記操作量検出手段とは異なる検出方法でブレーキペダルの操作量を検出する油圧制動検出手段と、
前記油圧制動検出手段が検出した操作量に対応する制動トルクを前記油圧ブレーキに設定する油圧制動制御手段を更に備え、
前記油圧制動検出手段は、ブレーキペダルの踏み込み量を前記油圧の変化量として検出し、
前記操作量検出手段は、ブレーキペダルの踏み込み量を電気信号として検出する
ことを特徴とする請求項1から3何れか1項に記載のブレーキ制御装置。
