前記ハイブリッドシステム及び排ガス浄化システムを制御する制御手段は、
前記ハイブリッド電動車両の運転に必要な負荷が予め設定された高負荷領域にあって、かつ前記NOx吸蔵還元触媒の温度が該NOx吸蔵還元触媒の活性化温度の下限値よりも低いときは、前記エンジンの駆動力の一部を前記走行モータの駆動力で代替させて、前記ハイブリッド電動車両の運転状態を、前記高負荷領域のうち、エンジントルクの大きさで当該高負荷領域を区分した場合の中央部に存在し、かつ前記エンジンの排ガス温度が前記NOx吸蔵還元触媒の温度を活性化温度域に維持する領域である最適排ガス温度運転領域において一定にし、
前記ハイブリッド電動車両の運転に必要な負荷が、予め設定された低負荷領域にあって、かつ前記NOx吸蔵還元触媒の温度が前記下限値よりも低いときは、前記エンジンの駆動力の一部により前記走行モータを駆動して発電させ、
前記NOx吸蔵還元触媒の温度が該NOx吸蔵還元触媒の活性化温度の上限値よりも高いときは、前記エンジンの駆動力の一部を前記走行モータの駆動力で代替させることを特徴とするハイブリッド電動車両。 - 前記制御手段は、前記ハイブリッド電動車両の運転状態を前記最適排ガス温度運転領域の状態にしているときに前記NOx吸蔵還元触媒の温度が前記下限値以上になった場合には、前記エンジンの駆動力の一部を前記走行モータの駆動力で代替させることを停止することで、エンジントルクを増加させて、前記ハイブリッド電動車両の運転状態を前記最適排ガス温度運転領域の状態よりもエンジントルクの高い高負荷領域の状態へ移行させる請求項1に記載のハイブリッド電動車両。
- 前記制御手段は、前記高負荷領域にあって、かつ前記NOx吸蔵還元触媒の温度が前記下限値よりも低いときに前記エンジンの駆動力の一部を前記走行モータの駆動力で代替させる際には、前記エンジンの駆動力の一部を前記走行モータの駆動力で代替させることを開始したときのエンジントルクを、前記エンジンの駆動力の一部を前記走行モータの駆動
力で代替させることを終了するまで維持する請求項1又は2に記載のハイブリッド電動車両。 - 前記制御手段は、前記低負荷領域にあって、かつ前記NOx吸蔵還元触媒の温度が前記下限値よりも低いときは、前記NOx吸蔵還元触媒の温度が前記下限値以上になるまで、前記エンジンの駆動力の一部により前記走行モータを駆動して発電させる請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のハイブリッド電動車両。
