を含み、
前記柔軟な流体冷却シャフトは、前記ケーブルアセンブリの長さをその中に含むように構成され、かつ前記アンテナアセンブリへのエネルギーの伝達時に冷却流体をその中に循環させて前記ケーブルアセンブリの長さに沿って熱を除去するように構成されているエネルギー伝達装置。
Claims (8)
- 組織へのエネルギー伝達に適したエネルギー伝達装置であって、前記エネルギー伝達装置は、
アンテナアセンブリと、
前記アンテナアセンブリの周りに画定されたチャンバと、
電気外科手術用エネルギー源への接続に適した近位端を有するケーブルアセンブリであって、前記ケーブルアセンブリは、遠位端を有する内側導体と、前記内側導体の周りに同軸に配置され、かつ遠位端を有する外側導体と、その間に配置された誘電体と、を含む、ケーブルアセンブリと、
前記チャンバに流体連通して接続された柔軟な流体冷却シャフトであって、前記柔軟な流体冷却シャフトは、前記ケーブルアセンブリの長さをその中に含むように構成され、かつ前記アンテナアセンブリへのエネルギーの伝達時に前記ケーブルアセンブリの長さに沿って熱を除去するように構成されている、柔軟な流体冷却シャフトと、
第1の管状部材および第2の管状部材に接続されるように構成された流入/流出接合部であって、前記第1の管状部材は、前記ケーブルアセンブリの周りに配置されかつ流体流入導管を画定し、前記第2の管状部材は、前記第1の管状部材の周りに配置されかつ流体流出導管を画定する、流入/流出接合部と、を備え、
前記アンテナアセンブリは、
近位端および遠位端を有する導電性近位アームであって、前記近位端は、前記外側導体の遠位端に電気的に接続され、かつその周りに同軸に配置されており、前記近位アームは、前記外側導体の遠位端から前記近位アームの遠位端まで延在する第1の空洞を画定している、近位アームと、
外径を有する近位部と、前記近位部の外径よりも小さい外径を有する遠位部とを含む導電性遠位アームであって、前記遠位アームの近位部は第2の空洞を画定している、遠位アームと、
前記第1の空洞内に配置された近位部と、前記第2の空洞内に配置された遠位部とを含む接合部材であって、前記近位アームおよび前記遠位アームは、前記接合部材において位置合わせされており、前記接合部材は、前記近位アームおよび前記遠位アームを離間させ、それにより、その間に給電ギャップが画定されるように構成されている、接合部材と、
を含む、エネルギー伝達装置。 - 前記アンテナアセンブリは、内部管腔をその中に画定するコネクタ部を含むエンドキャップアセンブリをさらに含み、前記内部管腔は、前記アンテナアセンブリの少なくとも一部をその中に含むように構成されている、請求項1に記載のエネルギー伝達装置。
- 前記アンテナアセンブリの周りに画定されたチャンバは、前記コネクタ部によって画定された内部管腔を含む、請求項2に記載のエネルギー伝達装置。
- 前記エンドキャップアセンブリは、前記コネクタ部の遠位端に配置され、かつそこに接続されたエンドキャップをさらに含み、前記エンドキャップは内部チャンバをその中に画定し、前記内部チャンバは、前記アンテナアセンブリの少なくとも一部をその中に含むように構成されている、請求項3に記載のエネルギー伝達装置。
- 前記内部チャンバは、前記内部管腔と流体連通するように配置され、かつ冷却流体を前記アンテナアセンブリの少なくとも一部の周りに循環させるように構成されている、請求項4に記載のエネルギー伝達装置。
- 前記エンドキャップは、近位チャンバ部および遠位チャンバ部をその中に画定するように構成されており、前記近位チャンバ部は、前記遠位アームの近位部をその中に含むように構成され、前記遠位チャンバ部は、前記遠位アームの遠位部をその中に含むように構成されている、請求項4に記載のエネルギー伝達装置。
- 前記近位チャンバ部は、前記内部管腔と流体連通するように配置され、かつ冷却流体を前記遠位アームの近位部の周りに循環させるように構成されている、請求項6に記載のエネルギー伝達装置。
- 前記遠位チャンバ部は、前記近位チャンバ部に流体連通するように配置され、かつ冷却流体を前記遠位アームの遠位部の周りに循環させるように構成されている、請求項7に記載のエネルギー伝達装置。
