Claims (2)
- 燃料ガスと酸化剤ガスとの電気化学反応により発電する燃料電池を備え、複数の前記燃料電池が積層され、積層方向両端にエンドプレートが配設されるとともに、少なくとも一方のエンドプレートには、冷却媒体、燃料ガス又は酸化剤ガスである流体を前記燃料電池内に流通させる流体マニホールド部材が設けられる燃料電池スタックであって、
前記一方のエンドプレートと前記流体マニホールド部材との接合部位の周囲には、積層方向外方に突出する突起部が設けられ、
前記流体マニホールド部材は、前記一方のエンドプレートに固定されるフランジ部を有し、
前記突起部は、前記フランジ部に設けられるとともに、前記フランジ部から前記積層方向外方に突出して形成され、
前記突起部の高さは、前記流体マニホールド部材が前記接合部位の近傍で破壊されず、液絡が発生しない高さに設定され、
前記流体マニホールド部材は、前記突起部に挿通されたボルトにより前記一方のエンドプレートに固定されることを特徴とする燃料電池スタック。 - 燃料ガスと酸化剤ガスとの電気化学反応により発電する燃料電池を備え、複数の前記燃料電池が積層され、積層方向両端にエンドプレートが配設されるとともに、少なくとも一方のエンドプレートには、冷却媒体、燃料ガス又は酸化剤ガスである流体を前記燃料電池内に流通させる流体マニホールド部材が設けられる燃料電池スタックであって、
前記一方のエンドプレートと前記流体マニホールド部材との接合部位の周囲には、積層方向外方に突出する突起部が設けられ、
前記エンドプレート間には、複数の前記燃料電池が積層されてなる積層体を囲むケーシングを構成するサイドパネルが固定されるとともに、
前記突起部は、前記サイドパネルの前記一方のエンドプレート側の端面から前記積層方向外方に突出して形成され、
前記突起部の高さは、前記流体マニホールド部材が前記接合部位の近傍で破壊されず、液絡が発生しない高さに設定されることを特徴とする燃料電池スタック。
