Claims (16)
- 二次電池セルを複数並列に接続して構成された並列体を複数直列に接続して構成される組電池の異常判定方法において、二次電池セルの各々に取り付けた検出センサにより、その二次電池セルの各々の膨れを検出し、2つ以上の二次電池セルから検出された膨れに基づいて、それらの中の特定の二次電池セルに異常が発生したと判定することを特徴とする組電池の異常判定方法。
- 充電中に、第1の二次電池セルの膨れが、その第1の二次電池セルと直列関係にある二次電池セルの膨れよりも大きく、且つ、第1の二次電池セルと並列関係にある第2の二次電池セルの膨れが、その第2の二次電池セルと直列関係にある二次電池セルの膨れよりも小さい場合に、第2の二次電池セルに異常が発生したと判定する請求項1に記載の組電池の異常判定方法。
- 充電中に、少なくとも1つの二次電池セルの膨れの速度が所定値を上回り、他の少なくとも2つの二次電池セルの膨れの速度が、それぞれ前記所定値を下回り且つ互いに実質的に同じである場合に、その膨れの速度が所定値を上回る二次電池セルに異常が発生したと判定する請求項1に記載の組電池の異常判定方法。
- 充放電していない静止中に、少なくとも2つの二次電池セルの間で膨れの差が所定値を上回る場合に、そのうちの膨れが大きい方の二次電池セルに異常が発生したと判定する請求項1に記載の組電池の異常判定方法。
- 充放電していない静止中に、少なくとも2つの二次電池セルの間で、同じ充放電サイクル内での充電深度の異なる二点間における膨れの変化量の差が所定値を上回る場合に、そのうちの膨れの変化量が小さい方の二次電池セルに異常が発生したと判定する請求項1に記載の組電池の異常判定方法。
- 二次電池セルに異常が発生したとの判定に応じて前記組電池の充放電を遮断する請求項1〜5いずれか1項に記載の組電池の異常判定方法。
- 前記検出センサが高分子マトリックス層を有し、前記高分子マトリックス層は、その高分子マトリックス層の変形に応じて外場に変化を与えるフィラーを分散させて含有したものであり、
二次電池セルに前記高分子マトリックス層を貼り付けて、その高分子マトリックス層の変形に応じた前記外場の変化により二次電池セルの膨れを検出する請求項1〜6いずれか1項に記載の組電池の異常判定方法。 - 前記高分子マトリックス層が前記フィラーとしての磁性フィラーを含有し、検出部が前記外場としての磁場の変化を検出する請求項7に記載の組電池の異常判定方法。
- 二次電池セルを複数並列に接続して構成された並列体を複数直列に接続して構成される組電池の異常判定装置において、
前記二次電池セルの各々に取り付けられ、その二次電池セルの膨れを検出する検出センサと、
2つ以上の二次電池セルから検出された膨れに基づいて、それらの中の特定の二次電池セルに異常が発生したことを判定する異常判定手段と、を備えることを特徴とする組電池の異常判定装置。 - 充電中に、第1の二次電池セルの膨れが、その第1の二次電池セルと直列関係にある二次電池セルの膨れよりも大きく、且つ、第1の二次電池セルと並列関係にある第2の二次電池セルの膨れが、その第2の二次電池セルと直列関係にある二次電池セルの膨れよりも小さい場合に、第2の二次電池セルに異常が発生したと前記異常判定手段が判定する請求項9に記載の組電池の異常判定装置。
- 充電中に、少なくとも1つの二次電池セルの膨れの速度が所定値を上回り、他の少なくとも2つの二次電池セルの膨れの速度が、それぞれ前記所定値を下回り且つ互いに実質的に同じである場合に、その膨れの速度が所定値を上回る二次電池セルに異常が発生したと前記異常判定手段が判定する請求項9に記載の組電池の異常判定装置。
- 充放電していない静止中に、少なくとも2つの二次電池セルの間で膨れの差が所定値を上回る場合に、そのうちの膨れが大きい方の二次電池セルに異常が発生したと前記異常判定手段が判定する請求項9に記載の組電池の異常判定装置。
- 充放電していない静止中に、少なくとも2つの二次電池セルの間で、同じ充放電サイクル内での充電深度の異なる二点間における膨れの変化量の差が所定値を上回る場合に、そのうちの膨れの変化量が小さい方の二次電池セルに異常が発生したと前記異常判定手段が判定する請求項9に記載の組電池の異常判定装置。
- 二次電池セルに異常が発生したとの判定に応じて前記組電池の充放電を遮断する遮断手段を備える請求項9〜13いずれか1項に記載の組電池の異常判定装置。
- 前記検出センサが、二次電池セルに貼り付けられる高分子マトリックス層と、検出部とを備え、
前記高分子マトリックス層が、その高分子マトリックス層の変形に応じて外場に変化を与えるフィラーを分散させて含有し、前記検出部が前記外場の変化を検出する請求項9〜14いずれか1項に記載の組電池の異常判定装置。 - 前記高分子マトリックス層が前記フィラーとしての磁性フィラーを含有し、前記検出部が前記外場としての磁場の変化を検出する請求項15に記載の組電池の異常判定装置。
