Abstract
Description
従来のLEDを光源とする車両用フォグランプは、熱伝導性を有する細長金属の光源熱伝導部の両面に、白色又は淡黄色のいずれか一対のLED光源が設けられ、使用目的に応じて単一光源のいずれか一方のフォグランプを選択して取り付けするようになっており、2色切り替え可能にしたものは見受けられなかった。
この車両用LEDヘッドランプ10は、図7(a)(b)(c)に示されるように、光源熱伝導部11の両側のLED取付面部14が3角山形に形成され、このLED取付面部14の前方遮蔽部12側にロービーム用LED15が搭載され、ベース部18側にハイビーム用LED16が間隔を置いて搭載されている。17は、ロービーム用段差で、19は、放熱部である。
このような構成において、ハイビーム用LED16が点灯すると、図6のハイビーム照射範囲となり、ロービーム用LED15が点灯すると、図6のロービーム照射範囲となり、両者の照射範囲が大きく異なる配光となる。
光源熱伝導部23と取付フレーム31と放熱部32を備え、前記光源熱伝導部23の両面のLED取付面部21にそれぞれ白色LED光源25と淡黄色LED光源26を搭載し、これら白色LED光源25と淡黄色LED光源26の取り付け位置は、上下間隔が互いに略接するようにして淡黄色LED光源26を白色LED光源25の上側とし、かつ前後間隔が相互の幅を超えない範囲で淡黄色LED光源26を白色LED光源25の後方に位置して取り付けたものである。
光源熱伝導部と取付フレームと放熱部を備え、前記光源熱伝導部の両面のLED取付面部にそれぞれ白色LED光源と淡黄色LED光源を搭載し、これら白色LED光源と淡黄色LED光源の取り付け位置は、上下間隔が互いに略接するようにして淡黄色LED光源を白色LED光源の上側とし、かつ前後間隔が相互の幅を超えない範囲で淡黄色LED光源を白色LED光源の後方に位置して取り付けたので、2色の光軸(カットオフライン位置)の変化を最小限に抑えることができる。また、白色と淡黄色の各色に合わせた最適な配光パターンを得ることができる。さらに、1個の車両用LEDバルブをスイッチで切換えて2色切り替えの機能を持たせることができる。
白色LED光源は、路側帯側を重点的に照射してヘッドランプの光線が届かない範囲を補助し、淡黄色LED光源は、中央やや下側を重点的に照射して雨や霧のときの視認性を向上させるという効果を有する。
光源熱伝導部の両面のLED取付面部は、略垂直面としたので、理想的な配光パターンを容易に作成できる。
また、光源熱伝導部の両面のLED取付面部は、傾斜面とすることにより、効果的な放熱特性を得ることができる。
光源熱伝導部23と取付フレーム31と放熱部32を備え、前記光源熱伝導部23の両面のLED取付面部21にそれぞれ白色LED光源25と淡黄色LED光源26を搭載し、これら白色LED光源25と淡黄色LED光源26の取り付け位置は、上下間隔が互いに略接するようにして淡黄色LED光源26を白色LED光源25の上側とし、かつ前後間隔が相互の幅を超えない範囲で淡黄色LED光源26を白色LED光源25の後方に位置して取り付けて構成する。
図1及び図2において、23は、熱伝導率の良いアルミニウムその他の金属又は樹脂からなる光源熱伝導部で、円柱体の両面を垂直に削り、それぞれLED取付面部21としたものである。この光源熱伝導部23の先端部には、円形の前方遮蔽部24が形成され、基端部の円柱部には、取付フレーム31が取り付けられ、前記光源熱伝導部23の取付フレーム31よりさらに基端部は、放熱部32に嵌め込まれている。
淡黄色LED光源26の白色LED光源25の位置関係は、リフレクタの形状によっても配光特性が異なるので、配光図を見て上述の目的を達成できるように決定することが望ましい。
スイッチ(図示せず)を淡黄色LED光源26に切換えて発光すると、淡黄色LED光源26の光線は、リフレクタ27で反射し、図3の点線で示すように、横方向で白色照射面29よりやや狭く、また、図4の点線で示すように、縦方向で白色照射面29よりわずかに下側で、全体で図5の点線で示すような白色照射面29よりわずかに下側を重点的に照射する淡黄色照射面30となる。
前記実施例では、車両用LEDバルブとして自動車用LEDフォグランプを例として説明したが、ドライビングランプなどの2色切り替え可能な車両用LEDバルブを含むものとする。
Claims (4)
- 光源熱伝導部と取付フレームと放熱部を備え、前記光源熱伝導部の両面のLED取付面部にそれぞれ白色LED光源と淡黄色LED光源を搭載し、これら白色LED光源と淡黄色LED光源の取り付け位置は、上下間隔が互いに略接するようにして淡黄色LED光源を白色LED光源の上側とし、かつ前後間隔が相互の幅を超えない範囲で淡黄色LED光源を白色LED光源の後方に位置して取り付けたことを特徴とする車両用LEDバルブ。
- 白色LED光源は、路側帯側を重点的に照射してヘッドランプを補助し、淡黄色LED光源は、中央やや下側を重点的に照射して雨や霧のときにヘッドランプの白色光線の届かない範囲を補助することを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用LEDバルブ。
- 光源熱伝導部の両面のLED取付面部は、略垂直面としたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の車両用LEDバルブ。
- 光源熱伝導部の両面のLED取付面部は、傾斜面としたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の車両用LEDバルブ。
