Description
未精練の綿繊維から形成されたタオル100重量部をpH7の水1100重量部に供給し、タオルを含む水を60℃に加熱した。タオルを含む水が60℃に達した時点で水の加熱を停止し、その後、タオルを含む水を放冷しながら1時間に亘って放置した。1時間放置後のタオルを含む水の温度は52℃であった。タオルを含む水は、タオルに含まれている成分が溶出し、pH8.45の処理水となっており、この処理水によってタオルを構成している綿繊維を処理した。
未精練の綿繊維から形成されたタオルを90℃の水中に浸漬して10分間に亘って洗浄して綿繊維の表面に付着している不純物を除去した。次に、タオルを20〜30℃の水中に浸漬して水洗した。
一般財団法人日本タオル検査協会が定めるタオル検法の測定要領に基づいて脱毛率を測定した。実施例1のタオルの脱毛率は0.050%であり、比較例1のタオルの脱毛率は0.124%であった。
Claims (5)
- 綿繊維を精練剤の不存在下にて水中に浸漬し、上記綿繊維を含む水を30〜120℃に達するまで加熱して上記綿繊維からの溶出成分によってpH8〜8.9の処理水とし、上記処理水によって上記綿繊維の処理を行うことを特徴とする綿繊維の処理方法。
- 綿繊維の処理の後に、処理水に石鹸を加えて綿繊維を処理することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の綿繊維の処理方法。
- 綿繊維を含む水を30〜120℃に達するまで加熱した後に、上記綿繊維を含む水の加熱を停止し、上記綿繊維を含む水の有する熱によって上記綿繊維を含む水を上記綿繊維からの溶出成分によってpH8〜8.9の処理水とすることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の綿繊維の処理方法。
- 石鹸が、シアの実を原料として製造されたシア石鹸を含むことを特徴とする請求項2又は請求項3に記載の綿繊維の処理方法。
- シア石鹸は、シアの実の種子の胚から得られるシアオイルとアルカリ水溶液とを混合し反応させて得られた石鹸であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の綿繊維の処理方法。
