Description
図1に基づき、車両用駆動装置1について説明する。図1は、エンジン2を備えた車両100の車両用駆動装置1の概略を示している。図1において、太線は各装置間の機械的な接続を示し、破線による矢印は制御用の信号線を示している。
図1や図3に示すように、車両は、ブレーキ装置Bfl、Bfr、Brl、Brr、ブレーキペダル56、マスタシリンダ58、バキュームブースタ59、調圧装置53を備えている。
以下に、図4を用いて、クラッチ操作装置60について説明する。クラッチ操作装置60は、クラッチ3を操作するものである。図4に示すように、クラッチ操作装置60は、クラッチペダル61、クラッチセンサ62(図1示)、マスタシリンダ63、シャフト64、ドリブンギヤ65、ドライブギヤ66、モータ67、クラッチドライバ68、ターンオーバースプリング69、蓄電部71を有している。
以下に、図5に示すフローチャートを用いて、「衝突回避処理」について説明する。イグニッションがONとされ、車両100が走行可能な状態となると「衝突回避処理」が開始し、プログラムはS11に進む。

以下に、図6に示すタイムチャートを用いて、車両100の走行時における衝突回避処理について説明する。車両100と前車等の障害物との相対距離が縮まり(図6の(1))、衝突可能性が有ると判断された場合には(図5のS11でYESと判断)(図6のT1)、クラッチトルクTcが減少する制御が開始される(図6の(2)、図5のS23)。すると、エンジントルクTeによる車両100の加速が抑制又は停止され、或いは車両100が減速する(図6の(5))。
以下に、図7に示すタイムチャートを用いて、車両100の走行時における衝突回避について説明する。車両100と前車等の障害物との相対距離が縮まり(図7の(1))、衝突可能性が有ると判断され(図5のS11でYESと判断)、クラッチトルクTcの減少では、衝突が回避できないと判断された場合には(図5のS22でNOと判断)(図7のT1)、クラッチ3が接続された状態でエンジンブレーキが発生する(図7の(2))。すると、車両100は減速する(図7の(6))。
以下に、図8に示すタイムチャートを用いて、車両100の発進時における衝突回避について説明する。運転者がクラッチペダル61を離して、クラッチトルクTcを増大させて(図8の(1)、T1)、車両100が発進を開始した場合に(図8の(2))、車両100と前車等の障害物との相対距離が縮まり(図8の(3))、衝突可能性が有ると判断された場合には(図8のT2、図5のS11でYESと判断)、クラッチトルクTcが減少する制御が開始される(図8の(4))。すると、駆動輪Wrr、Wrlの伝達されるエンジントルクTeが減少又は0となるので、車両100が減速する(図8の(5))。
以上の説明から明らかなように、障害物と衝突する可能性が有る場合に(図5のS11でYESと判断)、制御部10(衝突回避部)は、モータ67(クラッチトルク可変部)を制御してクラッチトルクTcを減少させる(図5のS23、図6の(2)、図8の(4))。これにより、駆動輪Wrr、Wrlに伝達されるエンジントルクTeが減少し又は0となる。このため、エンジントルクTeによる車両100の加速が抑制又は停止され、或いは車両100が減速し、車両100の前方の障害物への衝突が回避される。
以下に、以上説明した実施形態と異なる実施形態について説明する。
以上説明した実施形態では、モータ67の回転軸67aは、ドライブギヤ66及びドリブンギヤ65を介して、シャフト64に回転連結している。しかし、モータ67の回転軸67aが直接、シャフト64に連結している実施形態であっても差し支え無い。本実施形態では、モータ67の回転軸67aは、ドライブギヤ66及びドリブンギヤ65によって、モータ67が出力するトルクが増大されてシャフト64に伝達されるので、小型なモータ67を用いることができる。或いは、モータ67が出力するトルクが、直接クラッチペダル61に付与される実施形態であっても差し支え無い。

- エンジンの駆動軸とマニュアルトランスミッションの入力軸との間に設けられ、前記駆動軸と前記入力軸間を断接するマニュアル式のクラッチと、
前記駆動軸と前記入力軸間のクラッチトルクを可変にするクラッチトルク可変部と、
前方の障害物との衝突可能性を判定する衝突可能性判定部と、
前記衝突可能性判定部が前記障害物と衝突する可能性が有ると判定した場合に、前記障害物との衝突を回避する減速度である衝突回避減速度を演算し、前記衝突回避減速度に基づいて、前記クラッチトルク可変部を制御して前記クラッチトルクを減少させて、前記障害物との衝突を回避する衝突回避処理を実行する衝突回避部と、を有する車両用駆動装置。 - 前記衝突回避部は、車両の減速度が前記衝突回避減速度となるように、前記クラッチトルク可変部を制御して前記クラッチトルクを減少させる請求項1に記載の車両用駆動装置。
- 前記衝突回避部は、前記エンジンの回転速度が低下して前記エンジンが停止する可能性が有る場合に、前記クラッチトルク可変部を制御して、前記クラッチを切断状態とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の車両用駆動装置。
- 前記衝突回避部は、前記衝突可能性判定部が前記障害物と衝突する可能性が有ると判定した場合には、前記クラッチが接続されている状態において、前記エンジンにおいてフューエルカットを実行する請求項3に記載の車両用駆動装置。
- 前記クラッチトルク可変部によって前記クラッチを接続状態とする請求項4に記載の車両用駆動装置。
- 制動力を発生する制動力発生部を有し、
前記衝突回避部は、前記衝突可能性判定部が前記障害物と衝突する可能性が有ると判定した場合には、前記制動力発生部において制動力を発生させる請求項1〜請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の車両用駆動装置。 - 前記クラッチを操作するクラッチ操作部を有し、
前記クラッチトルク可変部は、前記クラッチを切断する方向に前記クラッチ操作部を駆動する請求項1〜請求項6のいずれか一項に記載の車両用駆動装置。 - 運転者に前記クラッチトルク可変部の作動を報知する報知部を有する請求項1〜請求項7のいずれか一項に記載の車両用駆動装置。
