Description
Claims (16)
- 磁気エンコーダであって:
複数の磁極接合部を定義する複数のN/S磁極対を含む高分解能トラック;及び
前記高分解能トラックの第1の磁極接合部と整合する1つのN/S磁極接合部と、前記高分解能トラックの第2の磁極接合部と整合する1つのS/N磁極接合部とを定義する唯1つのN/S磁極対を含む基準トラック;
を含み、
前記高分解能トラックの前記第1の磁極接合部と前記第2の磁極接合部との間には、前記高分解能トラックの1つの磁極接合部のみが位置しており、
前記第1の磁極接合部と前記第2の磁極接合部との間に位置する前記高分解能トラックの前記1つの磁極接合部の位置で前記磁気エンコーダによって生成される信号は、インデックスパルスを定義し、前記インデックスパルスは前記磁気エンコーダの全長にわたって生成される唯一のインデックスパルスである、磁気エンコーダ。 - 前記基準トラックの前記N/S磁極対のうちの一方の磁極の長さは、他方の磁極よりも短く、前記第1及び第2の磁極接合部の間に位置する前記1つの磁極接合部は、前記基準トラックの前記N/S磁極対のうちの長さが短い方の磁極に整合している、請求項1に記載の磁気エンコーダ。
- 前記基準トラックは円形であり、前記基準トラック上の各前記磁極の長さは角距離を定義する、請求項2に記載の磁気エンコーダ。
- 前記基準トラックは直線形であり、前記基準トラック上の各前記磁極の長さは、直線長さを定義する、請求項2に記載の磁気エンコーダ。
- 前記磁気エンコーダは、前記高分解能トラックの前記磁極接合部に対応する個数の位置標識の位置で信号を検出し、
前記基準トラックの前記N/S磁極対のうちの短い方の磁極の長さは、インデックスパルスを定義するために前記位置標識の位置のうちの1つのみを含む大きさである、請求項2に記載の磁気エンコーダ。 - 磁気エンコーダであって:
複数の磁極接合部を定義する複数のN/S磁極対を含む高分解能トラック;及び
N/S磁極接合部及びS/N磁極接合部を定義するN/S磁極対を含む基準トラックであって、前記N/S磁極対のうちの一方の磁極の長さは他方の磁極より短い、基準トラック;
を含み、
前記高分解能トラックの前記複数の磁極接合部は、連続する第1、第2及び第3の磁極接合部を含み、
前記第1の磁極接合部は前記基準トラックの前記N/S磁極接合部と整合し、前記第3の磁極接合部は前記基準トラックの前記S/N磁極接合部と整合し、前記第2の磁極接合部は前記第1の磁極接合部と前記第3の磁極接合部との間にあり且つ前記基準トラックのうちの短い方の磁極に整合し、
前記第2の磁極接合部で前記磁気エンコーダによって生成される信号はインデックスパルスを定義する、磁気エンコーダ。 - 前記基準トラックは円形であり、前記基準トラック上の前記磁極各々の長さは角距離を定義する、請求項6に記載の磁気エンコーダ。
- 前記基準トラックは直線形であり、前記基準トラック上の前記磁極各々の長さは直線長さを定義する、請求項6に記載の磁気エンコーダ。
- 前記基準トラックの前記N/S磁極対は前記基準トラック上にある唯一のN/S磁極対である、請求項6に記載の磁気エンコーダ。
- 前記基準トラックの前記N/S磁極対は、前記基準トラック上にある2つ以上のN/S磁極対のうちの1つである、請求項6に記載の磁気エンコーダ。
- 磁気エンコーダであって:
複数の磁極接合部を定義する複数のN/S磁極対を含む高分解能トラック;及び
少なくとも1つのN/S磁極対を含む基準トラック;
を含み、
前記基準トラックの前記少なくとも1つのN/S磁極対のうちの一方の磁極の長さは他方の磁極よりも短く、
前記磁気エンコーダは、前記高分解能トラックの前記磁極接合部に対応する個数の位置標識の位置で信号を検出し、
前記基準トラックの前記少なくとも1つのN/S磁極対のうちの短い方の磁極の長さは、インデックスパルスを定義するために前記位置標識の位置のうちの1つのみを含む大きさである、磁気エンコーダ。 - 前記高分解能トラックの前記複数の磁極接合部は、連続する第1、第2及び第3の磁極接合部を含み、
前記基準トラックの前記少なくとも1つのN/S磁極対はN/S磁極接合部及びS/N磁極接合部を定義し、
前記第1の磁極接合部は前記基準トラックの前記N/S磁極接合部と整合し、前記第3の磁極接合部は前記基準トラックの前記S/N磁極接合部と整合し、前記第2の磁極接合部は前記第1の磁極接合部と前記第3の磁極接合との間にあり且つ前記インデックスパルスを定義する前記位置標識の位置と一致する、請求項11に記載の磁気エンコーダ。 - 前記基準トラックは円形であり、前記基準トラック上の前記磁極各々の長さは角距離を定義する、請求項11に記載の磁気エンコーダ。
- 前記基準トラックは直線形であり、前記基準トラック上の前記磁極各々の長さは、直線長さを定義する、請求項11に記載の磁気エンコーダ。
- 前記基準トラックは2つ以上のN/S磁極対を含み、該2つ以上のN/S磁極対のそれぞれは、インデックスパルスを定義するために前記位置標識の位置のうちの1つのみを含む大きさの短い磁極を有する、請求項11に記載の磁気エンコーダ。
- 前記基準トラックは4つのN/S磁極対を含み、該4つのN/S磁極対のそれぞれは、インデックスパルスを定義するために前記位置標識の位置のうちの1つのみを含む大きさの短い磁極を有する、請求項11に記載の磁気エンコーダ。
