Description
[1]加熱溶着性の継手(1)の管端部と加熱溶着性のチューブ(2)の端部とを互いに接合させた状態で、該接合部(3)の外周側より加熱して溶着させる溶着装置(10)において、
前記接合部(3)を周回する状態に保持可能であり、該接合部(3)を外周側より加熱するための溶着ヘッド(11)を備え、
前記溶着ヘッド(11)は、前記接合部(3)を周回する周方向に分割された複数のクランパ(20)と、各クランパ(20)の内周側に沿って設けられた複数のヒーター(30)とを有し、
前記各クランパ(20)は、前記接合部(3)を周回するように閉じた閉位置と、前記接合部(3)より離脱するように開いた開位置とに変位可能に連結され、
前記各ヒーター(30)は、ニクロム板と比して抵抗値が大きくて低電流で発熱可能なフィルム状の面状発熱体(31)の表裏をシート状の絶縁性素材(32)で被覆し、これを金属薄板(33)に固定して前記クランパ(20)の内周面に沿った円弧状に湾曲させて成り、
前記各クランパ(20)が閉位置にある時に、前記各ヒーター(30)は、それぞれ両端部(30a)が隣り合う同士で互いに当接し、前記接合部(3)の外周を全周方向に隙間なく連続して取り囲むように配置されることを特徴とする溶着装置(10)。
[2]前記ヒーター(30)は、細幅なテープ状に形成され、その全域に回路が施され
た形態を有することを特徴とする[1]に記載の溶着装置(10)。
[4]前記フレーム部材(35)は、前記各ヒーター(30)との間及び前記各クランパ(20)との間にそれぞれ隙間を生じるように配置されていることを特徴とする[3]に記載の溶着装置(10)。
[5]前記金属薄板(33)の表面に離型性素材を積層していることを特徴とする[1]から[4]のいずれか一項に記載の溶着装置(10)。
前記接合部(3)の溶着が終了した後に、前記送気入口(24)から内部に強制的に空気を導入すると共に、前記送気出口(25)から外部に排気させることにより、前記接合部(3)および各ヒーター(30)を冷却することを特徴とする[1]から[6]のいずれか一項に記載の溶着装置(10)。
前記[1]に記載の溶着装置(10)によって、継手(1)の管端部とチューブ(2)の端部との互いの接合部(3)を溶着する時は、先ず、開位置にある各クランパ(20)の間に接合部(3)を配置する。次に、各クランパ(20)を開位置から閉位置に変位させて、接合部(3)を周回する状態に保持してから、各クランパ(20)の内周側にある各ヒーター(30)をそれぞれ発熱させる。
また、前記ヒーター(30)は、前記[2]に記載したように、細幅なテープ状に形成し、その全域に回路が施された形態を有すると良い。
ここで前記フレーム部材(35)は、前記[4]に記載したように、前記各ヒーター(30)との間及び前記各クランパ(20)との間にそれぞれ隙間を生じるように配置すると良い。
さらに、前記金属薄板(33)の表面には、前記[5]に記載したように、離型性素材を積層すると良い。
図1〜図10は、本発明の実施の形態を示している。
本実施の形態に係る溶着装置10は、加熱溶着性の継手1の管端部と加熱溶着性のチューブ2の端部とを互いに接合させた状態で、該接合部3の外周側より加熱して溶着させる装置である。以下、加熱溶着性の材質としてフッ素樹脂材を用いた場合を例に説明する。
図1に示すように、溶着装置10によって、継手1の管端部とチューブ2の端部との接合部3を溶着する時は、各クランパ20を開いて開位置とし、開位置にある各クランパ20の間に接合部3を配置する。この時、一方のクランパ20(図1中の下側)の継手保持部28が、継手1の各位置決め突出部1a,1b間の凹部に嵌まるように配置すれば良い。

Claims (7)
- 加熱溶着性の継手の管端部と加熱溶着性のチューブの端部とを互いに接合させた状態で、該接合部の外周側より加熱して溶着させる溶着装置において、
前記接合部を周回する状態に保持可能であり、該接合部を外周側より加熱するための溶着ヘッドを備え、
前記溶着ヘッドは、前記接合部を周回する周方向に分割された複数のクランパと、各クランパの内周側に沿って設けられた複数のヒーターとを有し、
前記各クランパは、前記接合部を周回するように閉じた閉位置と、前記接合部より離脱するように開いた開位置とに変位可能に連結され、
前記各ヒーターは、ニクロム板と比して抵抗値が大きくて低電流で発熱可能なフィルム状の面状発熱体の表裏をシート状の絶縁性素材で被覆し、これを金属薄板に固定して前記クランパの内周面に沿った円弧状に湾曲させて成り、
前記各クランパが閉位置にある時に、前記各ヒーターは、それぞれ両端部が隣り合う同士で互いに当接し、前記接合部の外周を全周方向に隙間なく連続して取り囲むように配置されることを特徴とする溶着装置。 - 前記ヒーターは、細幅なテープ状に形成され、その全域に回路が施された形態を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の溶着装置。
- 前記各ヒーターを、その外周側に沿う円弧状に湾曲させた形状のフレーム部材にそれぞれ支持し、該フレーム部材を介して前記各クランパに取り付けたことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の溶着装置。
- 前記フレーム部材は、前記各ヒーターとの間及び前記各クランパとの間にそれぞれ隙間を生じるように配置されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の溶着装置。
- 前記金属薄板の表面に離型性素材を積層していることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の溶着装置。
- 前記各クランパのうち、前記チューブに対して直接係合する部位を弾性素材で形成したことを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の溶着装置。
- 前記各クランパのうち、一のクランパに送気入口を設けると共に、他のクランパに送気出口を設け、
前記接合部の溶着が終了した後に、前記送気入口から内部に強制的に空気を導入すると共に、
前記送気出口から外部に排気させることにより、前記接合部および各ヒーターを冷却することを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の溶着装置。
