Description
本発明は、例えばAVF針、翼付静注針等の製造装置およびAVF針、静注針等の製造方法として特に好適である。
熱供与体
熱供与体として使用する合成樹脂の溶融金型は、伝熱性材料で形成され、かつ熱伝導性プレートから伝熱される熱により加熱される。したがって、溶融金型を構成する伝熱性材料としては熱伝導性プレートから伝熱される熱により合成樹脂の溶融金型の各部分を均一かつ迅速に、さらには熱損失なく加熱するために伝熱性の高い金属である銅や銅合金、アルミニュウム等が好ましい。
前記合成樹脂の溶融金型の配置は、例えば図2に示すように左右に対向した熱伝導性プレート12,12′を設け、該プレート12,12′に金型台14および14′、およびこれら金型台14および14′に合成樹脂の溶融金型13,13′を左右に対向してそれぞれ配設することができる。
前記溶融金型は前記熱伝導性プレート12、12′に直接に接合していてもよいが、まず前記熱伝導性プレート12、12′に金型台を接合させ、この金型台に溶融金型13、13′を接合させたものが好ましい。このように溶融金型13、13′と熱伝導性プレート12、12′の間に金型台を介在させることにより、溶融金型13、13′に熱融着させる合成樹脂部材をセットした場合に、セットした合成樹脂部材が加熱された熱伝導性プレート12、12′に接触して損傷することがなく、かつ金型台に冷却手段(空冷・水冷、油冷)を設けることにより合成樹脂部材の熱融着温度のコントロールあるいは冷却を容易に行うことができる、という利点がある。この金型台14、14′も金型と同様に伝熱性材料、好ましくは熱伝導率の高い銅あるいは銅合金で形成される。
医療用合成樹脂部材を熱融着する熱を伝熱により前記熱供与体に供給する熱伝導性プレートは導電体、好ましくは磁性体たとえば鋼製品で構成される。前記熱伝導性プレートの1個の面積は複数個の前記溶融金型を同時に加熱するに十分なものが、1回の加熱操作で同時に、かつ均一に医療用合成樹脂部材の熱融着を実施できるので好ましい。例えば図2においては、X軸方向に2個の合成樹脂の溶融金型13、13′を左右に対向して配置された1組の金型の6組をY軸方向に配置した金型が存在するが、前記金型13群を同時に加熱するに十分な面積を有する熱伝導性プレート12が前記金型13群の上下両方向に配置され、また、前記金型13′群を同時に加熱するに十分な面積を有する熱伝導性プレート12′が前記金型13群の上下両方向に配置され、合計4枚の熱伝導性プレートが配置されている(溶融金型13および13′の上方向に配置した熱伝導性プレート12および12′は図2においては図示せず)。ただし、熱伝導性プレートの使用枚数は上述のような合計4枚の態様のものに限定されるものではなく、例えば合成樹脂の溶融金型の上下両側に1枚づつ合計2枚の熱伝導性プレートを配置して前記合成樹脂の溶融金型全部を加熱することもできる。また、図5に示すように熱伝導性プレート12,12′は切れ目18および18′を形成することが、このような切れ目を形成することにより、加熱を均一化でき、かつ該熱伝導性プレートの冷却を急速に行うことができるので好ましい。
また、本発明の加熱治具においては、前記のような熱伝導性プレートと熱供与体(金型、あるいは金型と金型台が結合したもの)が組合されて接合して構成されたものを加熱治具という。
前記加熱治具の熱伝導性プレートに熱を発生させ、該熱伝導性プレートを発熱させて加熱する部材としては図3および5に示すように熱伝導性プレート12、12′と離間、好ましくは平行に離間して設けたコイル15、15′がある。前記コイル15、15′に交流電流を流すことにより、前記熱伝導性プレート12、12′全体に均一にジュール熱が発生させることができる。なお、前記コイル15、15′としては、高周波誘導加熱で通常用いられているものを使用することができる。前記ジュール熱を発生させる磁界を作る交流としては、数百Hz〜数MHzの高周波電が採用されるが、該電源の発生部材としては、電動発電機,真空管発振器、サイリスターインバーターなどの半導体装置が使用される。また、前記熱伝導性プレートとコイルの面積は、熱伝導性プレート≦コイルという関係にあれば熱伝導性プレートの全体に亘って発熱を均一にすることができるが、前記熱伝導性プレートとコイルの面積をほぼ同じ大きさにして、最低限、熱供与体や金型台がコイル内に入るように寸法設定することが、熱供与体を無駄なく加熱することができるので好ましい。
前記熱融着される医療用合成樹脂部材の一方が医療用熱可塑性チューブ、他方が前記医療用熱可塑性チューブの内部に挿入される前記医療用熱可塑性チューブよりも医療用硬質な合成樹脂部材であって、かつd′/d≧1.0〔d:熱可塑性チューブのセット前の内径、d′:前記熱可塑性チューブよりも硬質な合成樹脂部材のセット前の外径〕という要件を満足する合成樹脂部材を、例えば図2および3に示すような熱融着装置を使用して熱接合を行った。前記要件を満足する医療用合成樹脂部材を使用することにより、熱伝導率の向上、チューブとコネクターの密着性の向上が図られるので、熱融着部の接合強度が増加するという効果を奏することができた。

〔D:熱可塑性チューブのセット前の外径、d′:外径Dの熱可塑性チューブの内部に挿入される該熱可塑性チューブよりも硬質な熱可塑性部材のセット前の外径、D′:セット時の熱供与体の内径〕
前記D≧D′>d′という要件を満足する合成樹脂部材を使用することにより、チューブとコネクターの密着性の向上という効果を達成することができた。

回転テーブルに前記加熱治具の複数個を設け、それぞれの加熱治具にAVF針を構成する部材である熱可塑性チューブ(軟質ポリ塩化ビニル樹脂チューブ)9内に針1のポリカーボネート樹脂で構成される針基(ハブ)7を挿入・嵌合して接合状態としたものを合成樹脂の溶融金型台14に配置した6個の各金型13に挟持状態でセットした。同様にAVF針を構成する部材である軟質ポリ塩化ビニル樹脂チューブ9内に血液回路接続用管状ポリカーボネート樹脂製コネクター5を挿入・嵌合して接合状態としたものを合成樹脂の溶融金型台14′に配置した6個の各金型13′に挟持状態でセットした。
Claims (18)
- 熱融着する医療用合成樹脂部材同士をその間に接合状態にセット可能で、該セットされた合成樹脂部材同士を熱融着する熱供与体と該熱供与体の上下方向に配置された熱伝導性プレートとで構成されるとともに、前記熱伝導性プレートはジュール熱を発生する手段により加熱されて前記熱供与体に前記医療用合成樹脂部材同士を熱融着するに必要な熱を伝熱可能で、かつ該プレートに切れ目が形成されたものであることを特徴とする医療用合成樹脂部材同士を熱融着するために使用する加熱治具。
- 1個の加熱治具が、熱伝導性プレートのX軸方向に複数個の熱供与体が配置され、かつ熱伝導性プレートのY軸方向にも前記X軸方向の熱供与体配置の複数組が配置された構成のものである請求項1に記載の加熱治具。
- 1個の熱伝導性プレートが、同時に複数個の熱供与体を加熱するに十分な面積を有するものである請求項1または2に記載の加熱治具。
- 熱融着する医療用合成樹脂部材と接触する熱供与体面の形状が凹凸形状である請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の加熱治具。
- 熱供与体が合成樹脂の溶融金型あるいは溶融金型と金型台の組合せである請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の加熱治具。
- 合成樹脂の溶融金型および/または金型台が銅製、銅合金もしくはアルミニウム製である請求項5に記載の加熱治具。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の加熱治具と該加熱治具の熱伝導性プレートにジュール熱を発生する手段を少なくとも備えて構成されていることを特徴とする医療用合成樹脂部材の熱融着装置。
- 前記ジュール熱を発生する手段が、前記加熱治具と離間して構成されたものである請求項7記載の熱融着装置。
- 前記ジュール熱を発生する手段が、前記加熱治具の熱伝導性プレートの上下方向に離間して配置され、かつ電流を流すことにより熱伝導性プレートにジュール熱を発生させるコイルである請求項8に記載の熱融着装置。
- 熱伝導性プレートとコイルの面積が、熱伝導性プレートの面積≦コイルの面積である請求項9に記載の熱融着装置。
- 1個以上の加熱治具、該加熱治具の熱伝導性プレートにジュール熱を発生させる手段、および医療用合成樹脂部材同士の熱融着を行った加熱治具の冷却部材を有する請求項7〜10のいずれかに記載の熱融着装置。
- 熱融着する合成樹脂部材をセットした加熱治具を熱伝導性プレートの加熱手段に移動させる移動部材、および合成樹脂部材の熱融着を行った加熱治具を冷却部材にそれぞれ移動させる移動部材を有する請求項11に記載の熱融着装置。
- 移動部材が、加熱治具が配置された回転円盤である請求項12に記載の熱融着装置。
- 制御装置により合成樹脂部材の加熱治具へのセット、加熱治具によりセットした合成樹脂部材の熱融着、および合成樹脂部材を熱融着した加熱治具の冷却を連続的に自動的に制御して行う制御手段を有する請求項12または13に記載の熱融着装置。
- 請求項7〜14のいずれかに記載の熱融着装置を使用し、該熱融着装置の加熱治具への合成樹脂部材のセットを、熱可塑性チューブの内部に挿入される合成樹脂部材が熱可塑性チューブよりも硬質の合成樹脂部材であって、かつd′/d≧1.0〔d:熱可塑性チューブのセット前の内径、d′:熱可塑性チューブの内部に挿入される該熱可塑性チューブよ
りも硬質な熱可塑性部材のセット前の外径〕という要件を満足して行うものであることを特徴とする医療用合成樹脂部材の熱融着方法。 - 請求項7〜14のいずれかに記載の熱融着装置を使用し、該熱融着装置の加熱治具への合成樹脂部材のセットを、熱可塑性チューブの内部に挿入される合成樹脂部材が熱可塑性チューブよりも硬質の合成樹脂部材であって、かつD≧D′>d′〔D:熱可塑性チューブのセット前の外径、d′:外径Dの熱可塑性チューブの内部に挿入される該熱可塑性チューブよりも硬質な熱可塑性部材のセット前の外径、D′:セット時の熱供与体の内径〕という要件を満足して行うものであることを特徴とする医療用合成樹脂部材の熱融着方法。
- 請求項14に記載の熱融着装置を使用し、合成樹脂部材の加熱治具へのセット、加熱治具によりセットした合成樹脂部材の熱融着、および合成樹脂部材を熱融着した加熱治具の冷却を連続的に自動的に制御して行うことを特徴とする医療用合成樹脂部材の熱融着方法。
- 熱可塑性チューブがAVF針の熱可塑性チューブで、熱可塑性の内部に挿入される合成樹脂部材が前記熱可塑性チューブよりも硬質の前記熱可塑性チューブに接続される医療用回路の接続コネクターおよび/または翼状針のハブ部分である請求項15〜17のいずれかに記載の医療用合成樹脂部材の熱融着方法。
