Description
続いて、リチウムイオンバッテリ27および鉛バッテリ28の電圧特性について説明する。図4はバッテリの端子電圧と充電状態SOCとの関係を示す線図である。なお、充電状態SOC(state of charge)とは、バッテリの充電度合を示す値であり、バッテリの設計容量に対する残存容量の比率である。また、図4に示される端子電圧V1,V2とは、電流が流れていないときのバッテリ電圧つまり開放端電圧である。また、図4に示される符号GHは、モータジェネレータ16の最大発電電圧を示している。
続いて、モータジェネレータ16の発電制御について説明する。図5はモータジェネレータ16の発電制御の一例を示すタイミングチャートである。図5には、モータジェネレータ16の発電電圧VG、リチウムイオンバッテリ27の端子電圧V1および充電状態S1、鉛バッテリ28の端子電圧V2および充電状態S2が示されている。また、図5に示されるブレーキONとは、ブレーキペダルが踏み込まれた状態を意味し、ブレーキOFFとは、ブレーキペダルの踏み込みが解除された状態を意味している。
続いて、車両用電源装置10の電力供給状況について説明する。図6および図7は車両用電源装置10の電力供給状況を示す説明図である。図6にはリチウムイオンバッテリ充電時の電力供給状況が示されており、図7にはリチウムイオンバッテリ放電時の電力供給状況が示されている。

Claims (6)
- 車両に搭載される車両用電源装置であって、
エンジンに接続される発電機と、
前記発電機に接続される第1蓄電体と、
前記第1蓄電体と並列に前記発電機に接続され、前記第1蓄電体よりも端子電圧の低い第2蓄電体と、
前記発電機の発電電圧を制御し、前記第1蓄電体の充放電を制御する充放電制御部と、
を有し、
前記第1蓄電体の充放電範囲における下限電圧は、前記第2蓄電体の充放電範囲における上限電圧よりも高く設計され、
前記充放電制御部は、
前記発電電圧を前記第1蓄電体の端子電圧よりも上げることにより、前記発電機から前記第1蓄電体に電力を供給し、
前記発電電圧を前記第1蓄電体の端子電圧よりも下げることにより、前記第1蓄電体から電気負荷に電力を供給する、車両用電源装置。 - 請求項1記載の車両用電源装置において、
前記第1蓄電体の内部抵抗は、前記第2蓄電体の内部抵抗よりも小さい、車両用電源装置。 - 請求項1または2記載の車両用電源装置において、
前記第1蓄電体を備える第1電源回路と、
前記第2蓄電体と前記電気負荷とを備える第2電源回路と、
前記第1電源回路と前記第2電源回路とを接続するスイッチと、
を有し、
前記充放電制御部は、
前記スイッチが閉じられた状態のもとで、前記発電電圧を前記第1蓄電体の端子電圧よりも上げることにより、前記発電機から前記第1蓄電体に電力を供給し、
前記スイッチが閉じられた状態のもとで、前記発電電圧を前記第1蓄電体の端子電圧よりも下げることにより、前記第1蓄電体から電気負荷に電力を供給する、車両用電源装置。 - 請求項3記載の車両用電源装置において、
停止条件に基づき前記エンジンを自動的に停止し、始動条件に基づき前記エンジンを自動的に再始動するエンジン制御部を有し、
前記電気負荷は、前記エンジン制御部によるエンジン再始動時に作動状態が継続される電気機器であり、
前記エンジン制御部は、前記スイッチが開かれた状態のもとで、始動装置を駆動して前記エンジンを再始動させる、車両用電源装置。 - 請求項4記載の車両用電源装置において、
前記発電機は、前記エンジンを始動回転させる前記始動装置である、車両用電源装置。 - 請求項3記載の車両用電源装置において、
前記スイッチは、前記第1蓄電体と前記第2蓄電体との正極端子を接続する通電経路に設けられる、車両用電源装置。
