Claims (3)
- 第1排気管の端部と第2排気管の端部との間をシールするために、前記第1排気管の端部に外嵌された状態で、前記第1排気管の第1フランジと前記第2排気管の第2フランジとの間に介装される環状のガスケットであり、しかも膨張黒鉛テープ及び金属メッシュ材を用いて構成されるガスケットであって、
前記第2フランジ側に向かって拡径する前記第1フランジの第1テーパ内周面のテーパ形状に対応するテーパ形状の第1当接面、及び、この第1当接面よりも径方向外側に位置する第1突出端部を含みかつ前記第1当接面に比して前記第1テーパ内周面側に突出し得る第1突出部を有し、この第1当接面と前記第1突出端部を含めた前記第1突出部とで前記第1テーパ内周面と当接可能なように径方向外側に形成された第1シール部と、
前記第1フランジ側に向かって拡径する前記第2フランジの第2テーパ内周面のテーパ形状に対応するテーパ形状の第2当接面、及び、この第2当接面よりも径方向外側に位置する第2突出端部を含みかつ前記第2当接面に比して前記第2テーパ内周面側に突出し得る第2突出部を有し、この第2当接面と前記第2突出端部を含めた前記第2突出部とで前記第2テーパ内周面と当接可能なように径方向外側に形成された第2シール部とを備えていることを特徴とするガスケット。 - 軸心方向に関して前記第1シール部と前記第2シール部との間に形成された外周部を備え、
前記第1シール部と前記第2シール部とが、前記外周部を挟んで対称的な形状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガスケット。 - 前記第1排気管及び前記第2排気管の内部に露出するように前記第2シール部の径方向内側に設けられた露出部を備え、
前記露出部に、前記金属メッシュ材の金属線が集中的に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のガスケット。
