Description
かかる態様では、ウェットエッチングする際に発生する水素ガスをニトロ化合物を含む保護材によって吸着することができるため、水素ガスによる圧電アクチュエーターへのダメージを抑制することができる。
(実施形態1)
図1は、本発明の実施形態1に係る液体噴射ヘッドの一例であるインクジェット式記録ヘッドの概略構成を示す分解斜視図であり、図2は、図1の平面図及びそのA−A′線断面図である。

Claims (4)
- 液体を噴射するノズル開口に連通する圧力発生室が形成された流路形成基板と、
該流路形成基板に設けられた圧電アクチュエーターと、
前記流路形成基板の前記圧電アクチュエーター側に接合された保護基板と、を具備する液体噴射ヘッドの製造方法であって、
前記圧電アクチュエーターが形成された前記流路形成基板と前記保護基板とを接合して接合体を形成する工程と、
前記接合体の前記保護基板の前記流路形成基板とは反対面側に封止部材を接合すると共に、前記封止部材と前記保護基板との間の空間にニトロ化合物を含む保護材を配置する工程と、
前記封止部材が接合された前記接合体の前記流路形成基板をウェットエッチングすることにより前記圧力発生室を形成する工程と、
を具備することを特徴とする液体噴射ヘッドの製造方法。 - 前記保護材を配置する工程では、当該保護材の融点よりも低い温度で配置し、
前記流路形成基板をウェットエッチングする工程では、前記保護材の融点よりも高い温度で行うことを特徴とする請求項1記載の液体噴射ヘッドの製造方法。 - 前記ニトロ化合物は、溶媒としてポリエチレングリコール、ポリプロピレングリコール及びポリグリセリンからなる群から選択される少なくとも一種を含むことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の液体噴射ヘッドの製造方法。
- 前記流路形成基板は、シリコン基板からなり、前記流路形成基板をウェットエッチングする工程では、水酸化カリウムを用いて行うことを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の液体噴射ヘッドの製造方法。
