Description
本出願は、2012年3月14日に出願された米国特許出願第61/610531号の非仮出願であり、その主題は参照により本出願に組み込まれる。
1.インク受容体の下塗りを塗布する。
2.多孔質の調製された基材上の選択された位置にインクを配置する。
3.添加剤の薄い層で被覆する。
4.迅速に(数秒など)(必ず圧力を加えるわけではなく、添加剤/インクを所定の位置に保持するのに十分な程度に)加熱する。
5.インク受容体、インク、及び添加剤を軟化し、皮革の表面に浸透させて、毛管作用により細孔を充填し、それによりインクがインク受容体及び添加剤に閉じ込められ、皮革内に結合される。
Claims (17)
- 皮革にプリントするための装置であって、
前記皮革の表面上にインク受容体を直接塗布するインク受容体塗布器と、
前記インク受容体及び/又は前記皮革の表面にインクを塗布するインク塗布器と、
前記インク受容体、前記インク、及び/又は前記皮革の表面上に添加剤を塗布する添加剤塗布器と、
前記皮革の表面上の前記インク受容体、インク、及び添加剤と接触するように構成されたこびりつかない表面を有するバリアと、
実質的に前記インクを通さず、所定の温度範囲より高い融点を有する前記バリアが少なくとも前記皮革の表面上の前記インク受容体、インク、及び添加剤と直接接触して前記インク受容体、インク、及び添加剤を前記皮革内に軟化し、前記インク受容体、インク、及び添加剤が軟化して前記皮革内に浸透するように、所定の温度又は前記所定の温度範囲内の温度まで前記バリアの表面を加熱する加熱器と、
を含む、装置。 - 前記所定の温度範囲の最低温度が100℃より高い、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記所定の温度範囲の最高温度が220℃より低い、請求項1記載の装置。
- 選択された圧力で前記塗布されたインク受容体、インク、及び添加剤に対して前記加熱されたバリアを押しつけることにより、前記塗布されたインク受容体、インク、及び添加剤に対して圧力を直接加える加圧器を更に含む、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記圧力が、50psiより低く、0psiより高い、請求項4記載の装置。
- 前記バリアが、所定の時間範囲内のある時間の間又は所定の時間の間、前記インク受容体、インク、及び添加剤に対して適用される、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記時間が2分以下である、請求項5記載の装置。
- 前記皮革を脱水して前記皮革内の水分を蒸気にする加熱器と、
前記皮革からの蒸気を吸引する真空吸引デバイス、又は
前記皮革からの蒸気を吸収する吸収物質
のうちの少なくとも1つとを更に含む、請求項1記載の装置。 - 前記皮革の少なくとも1つの特性の空間変動を決定するスキャナを更に含み、前記少なくとも1つの特性が、液体、タンパク質、脂肪の含有量、厚さ、酸性度、細孔濃度、平面度、色及び表面粗さからなるグループから選択され、前記スキャナが前記皮革内の不具合(複数も可)を更に検出する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記皮革のある位置に塗布されるインク総量及び/又は前記皮革に付着させるインク液滴のサイズ及び/又は色を調節する調節器を含むプリンタを更に含み、その調節が前記皮革の前記少なくとも1つの特性の空間変動の決定結果に依存する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記調節器が、前記皮革の隣接領域より大きい損傷又は高い含水量を有する前記皮革の一領域でインク液滴サイズ及び/又はインクの前記総量を増加する、請求項10記載の装置。
- 前記バリアが、熱を加えている間に実質的に固定位置に前記インクを保持するように構成される、請求項1記載の装置。
- 1片の皮革の表面特性の測定値を入力する入力と、
走査結果を出力する出力と、
前記入力された測定値を保管するデータ・メモリと、
プロセッサ制御コードを保管するプログラム・メモリと、
前記入力、前記出力、前記データ・メモリ、及び前記プログラム・メモリに結合され、前記プロセッサ制御コードをロードして実現するプロセッサと、
を含むコンピュータ・システムを更に含む、請求項1記載の装置。 - 前記皮革の表面にインク受容体を直接塗布し、
前記インク受容体及び/又は前記皮革の表面上にインクを直接塗布し、
前記インク受容体、前記インク、及び/又は前記皮革の表面に添加剤を塗布し、
実質的に前記インクを通さないバリアのこびりつかない表面を所定の温度又は所定の温度範囲内の温度まで加熱し、そして
前記所定の温度範囲より高い融点を有する前記加熱されたバリアを、前記皮革の表面上の前記インク受容体、添加剤、及びインクと直接接触させて前記添加剤、インク受容体、及びインクを前記皮革内に軟化し、前記インクが前記皮革内に浸透するようにする、皮革にプリントする方法。 - 更に、熱を加えている間に実質的に固定位置に前記インクを保持するように、前記インクを塗布する前に前記皮革を機械的に処理する、請求項14記載の方法。
- コンピュータ・プログラムがプロセスを制御する、請求項14記載の方法。
- コンピュータ・システムが、
1片の皮革の表面特性の測定値を入力する入力と、
走査結果を出力する出力と、
前記入力された測定値を保管するデータ・メモリと、
プロセッサ制御コードを保管するプログラム・メモリと、
前記入力、前記出力、前記データ・メモリ、及び前記プログラム・メモリに結合され、前記プロセッサ制御コードをロードして実現するプロセッサと、
を含み、前記コードが実行されると前記方法を実現する、請求項14記載の方法。
