Claims (4)
- 各画素(P)が、有機発光ダイオード(OLED)及び上記有機発光ダイオードを発光させる画素回路(PC)で構成された複数の画素であって、
各画素(P)の画素回路(PC)は、第1スイッチングTFT(ST1)、第2スイッチングTFT(ST2)、ドライビングTFT(DT)及びキャパシタ(Cst)を具備し、
上記第1スイッチングTFT(ST1)のゲート電極はゲートライン(GL)に接続され、ソース電極はデータライン(DL)に接続され、ドレイン電極はドライビングTFT(DT)のゲート電極と連結された第1ノード(n1)に接続され、
上記第2スイッチングTFT(ST2)のゲート電極はセンシング信号ライン(SL)に接続され、ソース電極はセンシング電源ライン(RL)に接続され、ドレイン電極はドライビングTFT(DT)のソース電極と有機発光ダイオード(OLED)のアノード電極が連結された第2ノード(n2)に接続され、
ドライビングTFT(DT)のドレイン電極は駆動電源ライン(PL)に接続され、
キャパシタ(Cst)は上記第1ノード(n1)と上記第2ノード(n2)の間に接続されている、
複数の画素を含むディスプレイパネル(100);
ゲートライン(GL)に上記複数の画素のうち前記ディスプレイパネル内の第1方向に並ぶ一連の画素の駆動のためのスキャン信号(scan)を、センシング信号ライン(SL)に上記一連の画素のセンシングのためのセンシング信号(sense)を及び駆動電源ライン(PL)に駆動電圧(VDD)を供給するゲートドライバ(300);
ドライビング駆動時に上記複数の画素にデータ電圧(Vdata)及びセンシング電源ライン(RL)に基準電圧(Vref)を供給し、センシング駆動時にセンシング電源ライン(RL)の電圧をセンシングするデータドライバ(200);
上記ドライビング駆動からセンシング駆動に転換される時に、複数の画素のセンシング電源ライン(RL)の電圧を初期化させるディスチャージング駆動部(250);及び
上記ゲートドライバ(300)、上記データドライバ(200)及び上記ディスチャージング駆動部(250)をディスプレイモード及びセンシングモードで動作するように制御するタイミングコントローラ(400)を含み、
上記ディスチャージング駆動部(250)は、nフレームの終わりとn+1フレームの始まりの間の設定されたディスチャージング駆動時間(T)に上記複数の画素のセンシング電源ライン(RL)の電圧をグラウンド(GND)に接続させることで初期化させ、
ディスチャージング駆動時間(T)はセンシング電源ライン(RL)の電圧が完全にグラウンド(GND)にディスチャージングされるように可変的に調節され、
上記センシング電源ライン(RL)の初期化以後、センシングプリチャージング電圧(Vpre_s)が上記センシング電源ライン(RL)に供給されてから、上記センシング電源ライン(RL)をフローティングさせた後、上記センシング電源ライン(RL)をセンシングデータ生成部に接続させて上記センシング電源ライン(RL)の電圧がセンシングされることを特徴とする有機発光ディスプレイ装置。 - 上記ディスチャージング駆動部(250)は、
上記タイミングコントローラ(400)から供給されるディスチャージング制御信号(DC−CS)によって駆動され、上記複数のセンシング電源ライン(RL)をグラウンド(GND)に接続させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光ディスプレイ装置。 - 上記ディスチャージング駆動部(250)は、
入力された信号によってオン−オフ駆動されるスイッチで構成され、上記データドライバ(200)の内部または別途の構成で形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光ディスプレイ装置。 - 上記ディスチャージング駆動部(250)は、
ドライビング駆動時とセンシング駆動時とでローとハイが切り替わるディスプレイ信号のライジングまたはフォーリングエッジ時点に同期されて上記複数の画素のセンシング電源ライン(RL)の電圧をグラウンド(GND)に接続させることで初期化させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機発光ディスプレイ装置。
