Description
Claims (9)
- 配向膜印刷パターンが形成された配向膜印刷版であって、
前記配向膜印刷パターンは、マトリクス状に形成された凸部と、周辺の少なくとも1辺に形成された線状の土手を有し、
前記凸部の径は、前記配向膜印刷パターンの中央よりも周辺において小さく、前記周辺の前記凸部と前記線状の土手との間にはスペースが形成されていることを特徴とする配向膜印刷版。 - 前記線状の土手は、前記1辺を含む4辺に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の配向膜印刷版。
- 前記配向膜印刷パターンの中央における前記凸部の径をd1とし、周辺における前記凸部の径をd2とした場合、d2/d1は、20%〜70%であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の配向膜印刷版。
- 前記配向膜印刷パターンの中央における前記凸部の径をd1とし、周辺における前記凸部の径をd2とした場合、d2/d1は、30%〜50%であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の配向膜印刷版。
- TFTと画素電極と配向膜を有するTFT基板と、配向膜を有する対向基板と、前記TFT基板の前記配向膜と前記対向基板の前記配向膜との間に液晶層が挟持された液晶表示装置の製造方法であって、
前記配向膜は、フレキソ印刷によって形成し、
前記フレキソ印刷は、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の配向膜印刷版を用いて行うことを特徴とする液晶表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記凸部は配向液を保持し、前記配向膜印刷パターンの周辺における配向液保持量は、前記配向膜印刷パターンの中央における配向液保持量よりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の配向膜印刷版。
- 前記凸部のピッチは、前記配向膜印刷パターンの中央と周辺において実質的に同等であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の配向膜印刷版。
- 前記凸部の高さは、前記配向膜印刷パターンの中央と周辺において実質的に同等であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の配向膜印刷版。
- 前記凸部の高さと前記土手の高さは実質的に同等であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の配向膜印刷版。
