Description
芯金7aには、母材表面に形成される保護膜として、クロムめっき層の他に、不動態被膜を形成する金属で、亜鉛を含まない金属、例えば、アルミニウム、モリブデン、チタンジルコニウム及びアンチモンの内の何れか1つの金属を用いてもよい。

Claims (5)
- 内輪と外輪との間に転動自在に配設された複数の転動体を保持する転がり軸受の前記内輪と外輪との間を密閉する軸受シールにおいて、
環状の芯金と、
前記芯金の表面に接着剤を塗布した接着層によって接着されているゴム材とを備え、
前記芯金は、
(a)鉄製の母材と、
(b)前記母材表面に形成される保護膜として、(b−1)母材の腐食防止を行う不動態被膜を形成する金属のうち亜鉛を含まずクロムを含む金属の内の1つの金属めっき層及び(b−2)鉄よりもイオン化傾向の小さいニッケル、銅、金又は銀で母材の腐食防止を行う金属めっき層の内の何れか1つの層と、
(c)前記何れか1つの層の表面にクロム酸処理によって形成されたクロム水和酸化物層と、を有するものであることを特徴とする軸受シール。 - 前記芯金は、前記母材の表面に形成されたクロムめっき層と、前記クロムめっき層上にクロム酸処理によって形成されたクロム水和酸化物層と、を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の軸受シール。
- 前記不動態被膜を形成する金属のうち亜鉛を含まずクロムを含む金属は、クロム、アルミニウム、モリブデン、チタン、ジルコニウム、及びアンチモンであることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の軸受シール。
- 前記接着剤は、フェノール系、エポキシ系、若しくはシラン系の接着剤、又はこれらを混合した接着剤であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3の何れか一項に記載の軸受シール。
- 前記ゴム材は、ニトリルゴム(NBR)、水素添加ニトリルゴム(H−NBR)、アクリルゴム(ACM)、フッ素ゴム(FKM)、EPDM、シリコンゴム(VMQ)及びウレタンゴム(AU)の内の何れか1つのものであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4の何れか一項に記載の軸受シール。
