Claims (11)
- 平坦な矩形の発光素子と、前記発光素子に接続されて該発光素子に給電するワイヤと、前記発光素子及びワイヤが封入された状態でそれらを一体的に保持する透光性樹脂と、を備えた照明器具であって、
前記透光性樹脂は、それ自体が多角形の照明器具本体の外形を成しており、該透光性樹脂の少なくとも1辺の長さが、前記発光素子の長辺の長さの2〜4倍であり、前記発光素子から放射された光を導光し、且つその外表面から出射することを特徴とする照明器具。 - 前記透光性樹脂の外表面の一部がフロスト面とされていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の照明器具。
- 前記透光性樹脂は、その外表面から出射される光の配光を制御する配光制御面を有することを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の照明器具。
- 前記発光素子は、有機発光層を含む有機層と、前記有機層の一方の面に設けられる陽極層と、前記有機層の他方の面に設けられる陰極層と、これらが積層される基板と、を有する面状の有機EL素子であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の照明器具。
- 前記透光性樹脂の外形が多角形状であり、前記発光素子は平面形状であって前記透光性樹脂の外形を成す一面と平行な状態に該透光性樹脂によって保持されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の照明器具。
- 前記透光性樹脂の外形が直方体形状であり、前記発光素子は平面形状であって前記透光性樹脂の外形を成す一面に対して所定の角度で傾斜した状態に該透光性樹脂によって保持されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の照明器具。
- 前記透光性樹脂の角部がR状に面取りされていることを特徴とする請求項5又は請求項6に記載の照明器具。
- 前記ワイヤの一部は、前記透光性樹脂の外形の一辺と平行な状態で前記透光性樹脂によって保持されていることを特徴とする請求項5乃至請求項7のいずれか一項に記載の照明器具。
- 前記透光性樹脂の外形が略球形状であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の照明器具。
- 前記陽極層及び陰極層は、いずれも透光性を有することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の照明器具。
- 前記発光素子を複数備えることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項10のいずれか一項に記載の照明器具。
