Abstract
【解決手段】接合部40の形成にあたって、第1のガラス基板20の一表面側において接合部40に対応した部位に低融点ガラスを主成分とするペースト状もしくはシート状の第1の接合材40bを乗せて焼成する基本過程を複数回繰り返すことにより所定ギャップ長に応じて設定した所望の厚みのガラス層40aを形成する第1の工程と、ガラス層40a上に低融点ガラスを主成分とする第2の接合材40cを乗せた後、第2の接合材40cに第2のガラス基板30を重ね合わせ、第2のガラス基板30における第1のガラス基板20側とは反対側からレーザ光を照射して第2の接合材40cを溶融させることでガラス層40aと第2の接合材40cとにより形成される接合部40を形成する第2の工程とを備える。

Claims (1)
- 平板状の第1のガラス基板と、前記第1のガラス基板の一表面側で前記第1のガラス基板に対向する平板状の第2のガラス基板と、前記第1のガラス基板と前記第2のガラス基板とを接合し前記第1のガラス基板と前記第2のガラス基板との距離を所定ギャップ長に保つ枠状の接合部と、前記第1のガラス基板と前記第2のガラス基板と前記接合部とで構成されるパッケージに前記接合部から離れて収納された有機EL素子ユニットとを備えた発光装置の製造方法であって、前記接合部の形成にあたっては、前記第1のガラス基板の前記一表面側において前記接合部に対応した部位に低融点ガラスを主成分とするペースト状もしくはシート状の第1の接合材を乗せて焼成する基本過程を複数回繰り返すことにより前記所定ギャップ長に応じて設定した所望の厚みのガラス層を形成する第1の工程と、前記第1の工程の後で、前記ガラス層上に低融点ガラスを主成分とするペースト状もしくはシート状の第2の接合材を乗せた後、前記第2の接合材に前記第2のガラス基板を重ね合わせ、前記第2のガラス基板における前記第1のガラス基板側とは反対側からレーザ光を照射して前記第2の接合材を溶融させることで前記ガラス層と前記第2の接合材とにより形成される前記接合部を形成する第2の工程とを備えることを特徴とする発光装置の製造方法。
