本願と同じ発明者のChuck Tool and Bits Arrangementと題する2011年4月21日付けのオーストラリア仮特許出願第2011901515号が、参照により本明細書に援用される。
Claims (13)
- 一定の直径のセンタリングシャフト部分を有するドリルビットとともに用いられるチャックであって:
前記ドリルビットの一定の直径のセンタリングシャフト部分を収容するドリルビットセンタリング構成であって、前記ドリルビットは、振れを最小限に抑えるように該チャックの回転軸と位置合わせされる、ドリルビットセンタリング構成を有する本体;
ドリルビットを駆動するためにドリルビットの第1の駆動肩部に係合した第1の肩部;
第1の肩部より大きい直径を持ち、アダプタの第2の肩部に係合するように構成された第2の駆動肩部を有する代替ドリルビットを駆動することに適応される第2の肩部
を含む、チャック。 - 第2の肩部がチャックに係合したアダプタの一部であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のチャック。
- 前記ドリルビットのロック部分に係合して前記ドリルビットと該チャックの前記本体との間の相対的な長手方向移動を防止するように構成されている、ドリルビット保持構成を含む、請求項1に記載のチャック。
- 前記チャック及び前記ドリルビットのユーザによって前記本体の内方への力が加わると、前記ドリルを前記ドリルビット保持構成から離脱させるように動作可能であり、前記ドリルビットを前記チャックから長手方向に取り外すことを可能にする、前記保持構成に関連付けられるドリルビット解放機構を更に含む、請求項3に記載のチャック。
- 前記ドリルビット解放機構は:
前記ドリルビットの前記ロック部分に当接するように付勢されるロック部材;及び
捕捉される押部材であって、第1の位置に戻るように付勢され、ユーザが該押部材を前記第1の位置から移動させるように該押部材に対して前記本体の内方への力を加えると、該押部材は前記チャックの前記本体の内方へ移動して前記ロック部材を前記ドリルビットの前記ロック部分との当接から外して離し、前記ドリルビットを前記チャックから長手方向に取り外すことを可能にする、請求項4に記載のチャック。 - 前記ドリルビット保持機構は:
ロック部材であって、前記ドリルビットの前記ロック部分に当接するように付勢されるとともに前記本体内に位置付けられ、それによって、ロック部分を有するドリルビットは該ロック部材を一方向へは通過することができるが他の方向へは通過することができず、該ロック部材は、前記チャックの前記本体の外側へ該ロック部材を部分的に延出させる位置で止まり、前記チャック及び前記ドリルビットのユーザによって該ロック部材に対して前記本体の内方への、また付勢に抗する力が加わると、前記ドリルビットは一方向へ移動し、前記チャックから長手方向に取り外すことができる、ロック部材を含む、請求項5に記載のチャック。 - 前記ドリルビットセンタリング構成は、ドリルビットの前記第1の駆動肩部分を通すことを可能にするようなサイズである、請求項1に記載のチャック。
- 請求項2に記載のドリルビットとともに用いられるチャック及びドリルビットアダプタであって、該チャックは:
本体;
ドリルビットのロック部分に係合するとともに前記ドリルビットと該チャックの前記本体との間の相対的な長手方向移動を防止するように構成されている保持要素;
前記チャックの前記本体と同軸に位置合わせされるとともに前記ドリルビットの前記センタリングシャフト部分を収容するように構成されているボア;
を含み、該アダプタは:
ドリルビットの前記駆動肩部分に係合して前記ドリルビットに回転力を与えるドリルビット係合部分を含む、チャック及びドリルビットアダプタ。 - 前記ドリルビット係合部分は、様々なドリルビットの少なくとも2つの異なるサイズの駆動肩部分を収容するように構成されている、請求項8に記載のチャック及びドリルビットアダプタ。
- チャック構成であって、前記チャックは:
前記チャックの長手方向に配置される工具ビット収容部分に対して長手方向及び平行に延在する少なくとも1つの駆動ピンを更に含み、
前記チャック構成は:
延長要素であって、中空スピゴットに係合するように構成されているとともに、第1のサイズ及び形状の駆動肩部よりも大きい駆動肩部を有するドリルビットに係合するように更に構成されており、該延長要素に回転力を伝達する少なくとも1つの駆動ピンに係合するように更に構成されている、延長要素を更に含む、請求項9に記載のチャック構成。 - チャック構成であって:
請求項1に記載のチャックであって:
該チャックの前記本体から長手方向に延在するスピゴットであって、中空体であり、該中空体は、前記チャックの工具ビット収容部分と軸方向に位置合わせされ、該スピゴットはまた、第1のサイズ及び形状の駆動肩部を有するドリルビットに係合するように構成されている、スピゴットを更に含む、チャック構成。 - 前記スピゴットは、様々なドリルビットの少なくとも2つの異なるサイズの駆動肩部に係合するように構成されている、請求項11に記載のチャック構成。
- 第1の端に、前記本体の穿孔部分に関連付けられる切断面を有し;
第2の端に、
複数の穿孔部分の直径用の一定の直径を有するセンタリングシャフト部分;
駆動肩部分;及び
ロック部分
を有する、請求項1に記載のチャックに入れて用いられるドリルビット。
