Description
Claims (15)
- 正極、負極、前記正極と負極との間に介在する分離膜、及び電解液を含むリチウム二次電池であって、
前記負極は、リチウムチタン酸化物(Lithium Titanium Oxide:LTO)を負極活物質として含み、
前記電解液は、
リチウム塩;
非水系溶媒;及び
高温貯蔵時におけるガスの発生を抑制する機能を発揮できる(a)ホスフェート化合物及び低抵抗SEIレイヤーの形成を通じて放電抵抗を減少させ得る(b)スルホネート化合物の混合物;
を含み、
前記ホスフェート化合物は、下記の化学式1で表示され、
R 1 、R 2 、R 3 及びR 4 は、それぞれ独立的にハロゲン、ハロゲン置換または非置換のC 1 〜C 10 アルキル基、ハロゲン置換または非置換のC 2 〜C 10 アルケニル基またはハロゲン置換または非置換のC 1 〜C 10 アルコキシ基であるか、またはR 1 、R 2 、R 3 及びR 4 のうち少なくとも二つが互いに連結されてオキサレート基を形成する]
前記スルホネート化合物は、下記の化学式2で表示される環型ヘテロ化合物であり、
前記LTOは、下記の化学式3で表示される、
Li x Ti y O 4 (3)
[前記化学式3において、0.5≦x≦3、1≦y≦2.5である]
リチウム二次電池。 - 前記二次電池の作動電位は1.2V〜1.8Vであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記化合物(a)及び化合物(b)の混合物は、電池の作動電位で還元され、前記各物質の化学反応結果物を含有する不動態膜を負極表面の一部または全部に形成することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記不動態膜は、固体電解質界面(SEI film:Solid Electrolyte Interface)被膜であることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記化合物(a)及び化合物(b)の混合物は、電解液の全体重量を基準にして0.1重量%〜10重量%で含まれることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記化合物(a)及び化合物(b)の混合物は、電解液の全体重量を基準にして0.1重量%〜5重量%で含まれることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記ホスフェート化合物は、リチウムジフルオロビス(オキサラト)ホスフェート(lithium difluorobis(oxalato)phosphate)、リチウムテトラフルオロ(オキサラト)ホスフェート(lithium tetrafluoro(oxalato)phosphate)、及びリチウムトリス(オキサラト)ホスフェート(lithium tris(oxalato)phosphate)からなる群から選ばれる一つ以上であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記電解液は、電子求引性基が置換されたラクタム系化合物、シラザン系化合物、シリルアミド系化合物、スルトン系化合物、一つ以上の不飽和基を含むシロキサン系化合物、及びビニリデンカーボネート系化合物からなる群から選ばれる一つ以上の化合物をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記リチウム塩は、LiCl、LiBr、LiI、LiClO4、LiBF4、LiB10Cl10、LiPF6、LiCF3SO3、LiCF3CO2、LiAsF6、LiSbF6、LiAlCl4、CH3SO3Li、(CF3SO2)2NLi、クロロボランリチウム、低級脂肪族カルボン酸リチウム、4フェニルホウ酸リチウム、イミド及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記非水系溶媒は、カーボネート系溶媒、エステル系溶媒、エーテル系溶媒、ケトン系溶媒、アルコール系溶媒、非プロトン性溶媒及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記非水系溶媒は、線形カーボネートと環形カーボネートとの混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 請求項1によるリチウム二次電池を単位電池として含むことを特徴とする電池モジュール。
- 請求項12による電池モジュールを含むことを特徴とする電池パック。
- 請求項13による電池パックを含むことを特徴とするデバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、プラグ―インハイブリッド電気自動車、または電力貯蔵用システムであることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載のデバイス。
