Claims (8)
- チューブ状本体であって、該本体の第1端部に近接する切断開口部と、該切断開口部から該本体の第2端部へ該本体を通した流体通路とを画定するチューブ状本体と、
前記流体通路内に配置された切断工具であって、該切断工具を通した流体流れを可能とするように構成され、前記切断開口部を横切って移動し、このことによって前記切断開口部に入る眼組織を切断すべく前記チューブ状本体内で往復運動するように構成された切断工具とを具備し、
前記切断工具が、
本体部分と、
該本体部分の第1端部に配置され且つ前記切断開口部において物質を切断するように構成された刃部分と、
前記刃部分と前記本体部分との間に配置された移行部分を含み、該移行部分が、前記刃部分と前記本体部分との間に延在する角度が付けられた表面を画定し、該角度が付けられた表面が前記切断工具の長手方向の軸線と90°未満の角度を画定する、移行部分とを含み、
前記本体部分が前記チューブ状本体の内周の周りに部分的にのみ延在し、
前記刃部分が刃を画定し、該刃が、前記切断開口部に近接する前記切断工具の切断端部の周りに部分的にのみ延在し、前記切断工具が前記切断端部において孔を画定し、該孔が前記切断端部の周囲に対して前記刃の反対側に位置付けられる、硝子体茎切除プローブ。 - 前記切断工具が、該切断工具の刃部分に沿って、前記チューブ状本体の内面に対応する形状を画定する、請求項1に記載の硝子体茎切除プローブ。
- 前記切断工具が該切断工具の本体部分に沿って前記チューブ状本体の内周の1/2以下に亘って延在する、請求項1に記載の硝子体茎切除プローブ。
- 前記切断工具の本体部分が前記チューブ状本体を通した流体流れに垂直な第1断面積を画定すべく前記チューブ状本体と協働し、前記第1断面積が、前記切断工具によって画定される前記流体流れに垂直な第2断面積よりも大きい、請求項1に記載の硝子体茎切除プローブ。
- 前記切断工具の本体部分が概して半円の形状を画定する、請求項1に記載の硝子体茎切除プローブ。
- 前記チューブ状本体の第1端部が外科的な切開創内に挿入されるように構成され、前記第2端部が、手術工具との流体交換のために該手術工具に繋止されるように構成され、且つ、前記切断開口部と流体連通する流体開口部を画定する、請求項1に記載の硝子体茎切除プローブ。
- 前記刃部分が刃を画定し、該刃が第1材料から形成され、前記切断工具の本体部分が前記第1材料とは異なる第2材料から形成される、請求項1に記載の硝子体茎切除プローブ。
- 前記切断工具の本体部分の長さが前記切断工具の長さの少なくとも1/2である、請求項1に記載の硝子体茎切除プローブ。
