3)ポートを通過する物質は、低いものでは体温における水蒸気圧(約7000Pa、絶対値)となる可能性がある最小の希薄な真空による周期的な圧力サイクルと、数気圧の最大圧縮圧力を受け、これは捕捉されたあらゆる気体の素早い膨張と圧縮を引き起こし、局所の破壊を生じさせ、
4)ポートの辺縁を通過して流れる物質は急激な90度の転回を経験して高い渦度を受け、これは大きいが高度に限局性のせん断力も必要とし、
5)ポートの外側辺縁にある物質は、ストロークの各サイクルの間に最も前方と後方の極限の針の位置においてポートの辺縁によるせん断性の衝撃波にさらされることになり、分裂のための多くのポイントを作り出し、
6)高速における内側および外側にあるポートの軸周囲のトロイダルフローセルが物質を引き裂く可能性がある。
Claims (8)
- 吸引経路を含む手術装置に取り付けられ、該手術装置によって振動されるカニューレであって、
該カニューレの近位部または前記手術装置の遠位部が、カニューレを眼に挿入するための入口部アライメント器具と接触することなしに、網膜近傍の領域を含む眼の後方セグメント全体に延伸するのに十分な長さのシャフト、および
前記吸引経路と連絡するために前記カニューレを通って延伸する内腔と連絡するよう形成される少なくとも一つのポートを備え、前記少なくとも一つのポートは、カニューレ遠位先端の側面に形成され、カニューレ遠位先端の軸方向の先端部および頂点には形成されず、該少なくとも一つのポートの断面積は前記内腔の断面積に比べて3分の1以下であることを特徴とするカニューレ。 - 水晶体超音波乳化吸引手術装置に取り付けられた請求項1記載のカニューレ。
- 前記ポートを多数備えたことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載のカニューレ。
- 前記シャフトの長さは、31mm〜33mmであることを特徴とする請求項1から3いずれか1項記載のカニューレ。
- 前記少なくとも一つのポートは、205μm以下の直径を有することを特徴とする請求項1から4いずれか1項記載のカニューレ。
- 前記少なくとも一つのポートは、155μm以下の直径を有することを特徴とする請求項1から5いずれか1項記載のカニューレ。
- 前記少なくとも一つのポートは、130μm以下の直径を有することを特徴とする請求項1から6いずれか1項記載のカニューレ。
- 前記カニューレは、20ゲージ、23ゲージ、25ゲージ、および27ゲージのいずれかの外径を有することを特徴とする請求項1から7いずれか1項記載のカニューレ。
