上述したように、本明細書に記載のハンドピースは、眼球内の材料を切断、吸引、および/または注入するために、最小侵襲的に眼球内に挿入されるように構成された、切断管1112または他の細長いシャフトを含むことができる。細長いシャフトは、組織の断片を捕捉して切断するように構成された側面開口部を有する外側部材を通って延びる、中空の細長い部材を有する硝子体手術様式の切断要素として、構成されることができる。細長いシャフトは、外側部材の有無にかかわらず、可動式の切断管をも含む水晶体超音波乳化吸引(「ファコ」)スタイルのチップとして、構成されることができる。細長いシャフトの振動運動は、本明細書の他の箇所に記載されている圧電駆動システムなどの様々な機構のいずれかを使用して、発生させることができる。従来の水晶体超音波乳化吸引が、角膜内皮細胞などの繊細な目の組織に与える悪影響を回避する方法で、特定の振動運動を作り出すことができる。

Claims (15)
- 眼からレンズ材料を抽出する装置(1030)であって、
近位の再使用可能な部分(1033)に、解放可能に結合可能な、遠位の使い捨て部分(1031)と、
前記眼の外側に残るように構成された、前記近位の再使用可能な部分とを、備えており、
前記遠位の使い捨て部分(1031)は、
切断チップと、内ルーメン(1110)とを含み、前記眼の前房を通ってカプセルバッグまで延びるように、サイズ化および構成された、切断管(1112)と、
前記遠位の使い捨て部分内に収容され、前記切断管の前記内ルーメンに流体的に結合された、吸引ポンプ(1014)と、
前記切断管を振動させるように構成された、切断管駆動機構とを、備えており、
使用時に、前記装置が、前記内ルーメンに、材料を吸引するように構成されており、
前記近位の再使用可能な部分は、
前記吸引ポンプを駆動するように構成された、吸引ポンプモータ(1115)と、
前記吸引ポンプモータを前記吸引ポンプに、解除操作可能に結合する、カプラとを、備え、
前記吸引ポンプは、
対称的な二重チャンバのポンプマニホールド(420)を通って、長手方向に延びる中央カムシャフト(405)を含む、線形蠕動ポンプであり、
前記中央カムシャフトは、
前記遠位の使い捨て部分の長手方向の軸と、同軸に整列した、回転軸を有する、
装置。 - 前記吸引ポンプモータは、
前記中央カムシャフトを回転させる、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記線形蠕動ポンプは、
前記ポンプマニホールド(420)を通って延びる、2つの管(415)をさらに備え、

流体量を前記遠位流路に向かって押すため、前記2つの管の順次、段階的な圧縮を生成するため、複数のカムフォロア(410)を前記2つの管(415)、に向かって、または、から遠ざけるように駆動するように、時間的に動作する、複数のローブ状カム(425)を、さらに備えている、

前記中央カムシャフトの前記回転軸および前記2つの管の前記長手方向の軸に、垂直な平面内にある、
