Description
前記タイヤ用ゴム組成物は、前記シリカ100質量部に対する前記メルカプト基を有するシランカップリング剤の含有量が1〜20質量部、前記ポリスルフィド化合物の含有量が0.5〜20質量部であることが好ましい。
本発明はまた、前記ゴム組成物を用いて作製した空気入りタイヤに関する。
なお、本発明において、SBRのビニル含量は、赤外吸収スペクトル分析法によって測定できる。
なお、本発明において、SBRのスチレン含量は、H1−NMR測定により算出される。
なお、シリカのN2SAは、ASTM D3037−81に準じてBET法で測定される値である。
該炭化水素基としては、例えば、分岐若しくは非分岐の炭素数1〜30のアルキレン基、分岐若しくは非分岐の炭素数2〜30のアルケニレン基、分岐若しくは非分岐の炭素数2〜30のアルキニレン基、炭素数6〜30のアリーレン基などがあげられる。中でも、分岐若しくは非分岐の炭素数1〜30のアルキレン基が好ましい。
なお、結合単位A、Bの含有量は、結合単位A、Bがシランカップリング剤の末端に位置する場合も含む量である。結合単位A、Bがシランカップリング剤の末端に位置する場合の形態は特に限定されず、結合単位A、Bを示す式(2)、(3)と対応するユニットを形成していればよい。
工程1では、前記ゴム成分、シリカ、メルカプト基を有するシランカップリング剤及びポリスルフィド化合物を混練する。混練方法としては特に限定されず、バンバリーミキサー、オープンロールなどの一般的なゴム工業で使用される混練機を使用できる。なお、ベース練り工程は1回でもよいが、添加剤を分割したり、練り増しするなど、練り回数は特に限定されない。
工程1を行った後、工程1で得られた混練物を冷却した後、更に加硫剤、加硫促進剤の加硫薬品を添加して混練し、未加硫ゴム組成物を得る。
工程3で得られた未加硫ゴム組成物を公知の方法で加硫することにより、本発明のゴム組成物が得られる。工程3の加硫温度は、本発明の効果が良好に得られるという点から、好ましくは120℃以上、より好ましくは140℃以上であり、また、好ましくは200℃以下、より好ましくは180℃以下である。

ポリスルフィド化合物2:N−benzyl−N−[(dibenzylamino)disulfanyl]phenylmethanamine(Aldrich社製)
硫黄:鶴見化学工業(株)製の粉末硫黄
加硫促進剤1:大内新興化学工業(株)製のノクセラーNS(N−tert−ブチル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド)
加硫促進剤2:大内新興化学工業(株)製のノクセラーD(N,N’−ジフェニルグアニジン)
(株)神戸製鋼所製の1.7Lバンバリーミキサーを用いて、表1中のベース練りの項目に記載の材料を150℃の条件下で5分間混練りし、混練り物を得た(ベース練り工程)。次に、得られた混練り物に、表1中の仕上げ練りの項目に記載の材料を添加し、オープンロールを用いて、80℃の条件下で3分間練り込み、未加硫ゴム組成物を得た(仕上げ練り工程)。
得られた未加硫ゴム組成物を170℃で20分間プレス加硫し、加硫ゴム組成物を得た。
得られた未加硫ゴム組成物について、JIS K 6300に準拠したムーニー粘度を130℃で測定した。比較例1のムーニー粘度(ML1+4)を100とし、下記計算式により指数表示した(ムーニー粘度指数)。指数が大きいほどムーニー粘度が低く、加工性に優れる。

ロール加工後のゴムシートの平滑度について、表面及びエッジの平滑度を基準を3として、それぞれ5段階官能評価を実施し、その平均値をゴムシートの平滑度とした。数字が大きい方が優れている。
前記加硫ゴム組成物から所定サイズの試験片を切り出し、(株)上島製作所製の粘弾性スペクトロメーターを用いて、初期歪10%、動歪み2%、周波数10Hzの条件下で、30℃における加硫ゴムシートの損失正接(tanδ)を測定した。比較例1のtanδを100とし、以下の計算式により指数表示した(低燃費性指数)。指数が大きいほど、低燃費性に優れる。

LAT試験機(Laboratory Abrasion and Skid Test
er)を用い、荷重50N、速度20km/h、スリップアングル5°の条件にて、各加硫ゴム組成物の容積損失量を測定した。比較例1の容積損失量を100とし、各配合について指数表示した(耐摩耗性指数)。指数が大きいほど耐摩耗性に優れる。
Claims (4)
- ゴム成分、シリカ、メルカプト基を有するシランカップリング剤、及び下記式(I)及び/又は(II)で示されるポリスルフィド化合物を混練する工程1と、該工程1で得られた混練物及び加硫薬品を混練する工程2とを含む製造方法により得られ、
前記ゴム成分100質量%中、スチレンブタジエンゴムの含有量が1〜90質量%、ポリイソプレン系ゴムの含有量が0〜70質量%であり、
前記ゴム成分100質量部に対する前記シリカの含有量が5〜150質量部であり、
前記シリカ100質量部に対する前記ポリスルフィド化合物の含有量が0.5〜20質量部であるタイヤ用ゴム組成物。
- 前記シリカ100質量部に対する前記メルカプト基を有するシランカップリング剤の含有量が1〜20質量部である請求項1記載のタイヤ用ゴム組成物。
- 前記メルカプト基を有するシランカップリング剤が、下記式(1)で表される化合物、及び/又は下記式(2)で示される結合単位Aと下記式(3)で示される結合単位Bとを含む化合物である請求項1又は2記載のタイヤ用ゴム組成物。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のゴム組成物を用いて作製した空気入りタイヤ。
