Claims (8)
- 同心カムシャフト(12)の内側カムシャフト(12a)と外側カムシャフト(12b)との間に接続されたカム位相器(22)を有する自動車の内燃機関用の可変カムタイミング組立体(10)であって、
前記カム位相器(22)と、前記同心カムシャフト(12)の前記内側及び外側カムシャフト(12a、12b)の少なくとも一方との間に接続された回転トルクを伝達するための可撓性継手(14)を備え、前記可撓性継手(14)が、前記カム位相器(22)と、前記同心カムシャフト(12)の前記内側及び外側カムシャフト(12a、12b)の少なくとも一方との間のねじれ剛性結合を維持しつつ、軸方向に直角な方向及び軸方向の不整列に対する調整を許容する単一の一体成形の可撓性本体(14b)を有し、
前記単一の一体成形の可撓性本体(14b)が、周縁面(14a)を有する半径方向に延在する非平坦な形状を有する、
可変カムタイミング組立体(10)。 - 前記単一の一体成形の可撓性本体(14b)が、前記カム位相器(22)のハウジング(28、30、32)と前記同心カムシャフト(12)の前記外側カムシャフト(12b)との間に接続される、請求項1に記載の可変カムタイミング組立体(10)。
- 前記単一の一体成形の可撓性本体(14b)が、前記カム位相器(22)のロータ(36)と、前記同心カムシャフト(12)の前記内側カムシャフト(12a)との間に接続される、請求項1に記載の可変カムタイミング組立体(10)。
- 前記単一の一体成形の可撓性本体(14b)が、前記同心カムシャフト(12)の前記内側及び外側カムシャフト(12a、12b)の共通の回転軸線の周りに少なくとも部分的に延在する外周縁(14a)を有し、前記可撓性継手(14)が、前記内側及び外側カムシャフト(12a、12b)の共通の回転軸線と一致する回転軸線を有する、請求項1に記載の可変カムタイミング組立体(10)。
- 前記単一の一体成形の可撓性本体(14b)が、前記同心カムシャフト(12)の前記内側及び外側カムシャフト(12a、12b)の共通の回転軸線を完全に取り囲む外周縁(14a)を有し、前記可撓性継手(14)が、前記内側及び外側カムシャフト(12a、12b)の共通の回転軸線と一致する回転軸線を有する、請求項1に記載の可変カムタイミング組立体(10)。
- 内側回転カムシャフト(12a)と外側回転カムシャフト(12b)とを含む同心カムシャフト(12)に接続された回転軸線を有するロータ(36)を少なくとも部分的に囲むハウジング(28、30、32)を有するカム位相器(22)を含む自動車の内燃機関の少なくとも1つのポペット型弁を操作するための可変カムタイミング組立体(10)であって、
回転トルクを前記カム位相器(22)と前記同心カムシャフト(12)の一方との間で伝達するための、前記カム位相器(22)と前記同心カムシャフト(12)の内側回転カムシャフト及び外側回転カムシャフト(12a、12b)の少なくとも一方との間に接続された可撓性継手(14)を備え、前記可撓性継手(14)が、前記カム位相器(22)と前記同心カムシャフト(12)との間のねじれ剛性結合を維持しつつ、軸方向に直角な方向及び軸方向の不整列に対する調整を許容する単一の一体成形の可撓性本体(14b)を有し、
前記単一の一体成形の可撓性本体(14b)が、少なくとも1つの第1の接続点を画定する第1の半径方向距離で接続可能であると共に、少なくとも1つの第2の接続点を画定する第2の半径方向距離で接続可能であるモノリシックな部材であり、当該モノリシックな部材は、略三角形状の継手部材を含み、当該略三角形状の継手部材は、各頂点において前記第1の半径方向距離を有するとともに、前記略三角形状の継手部材の各辺の中点に隣接して前記第2の半径方向距離を有し、前記第1の半径方向距離は、前記第2の半径方向距離よりも大きい、
可変カムタイミング組立体(10)。 - 前記可撓性継手(14)が、前記カム位相器(22)及び前記同心カムシャフト(12)の共通の回転軸線と一致する回転軸線と、前記共通の回転軸線の周りに少なくとも部分的に延在する外周縁(14a)とを含む、請求項6に記載の可変カムタイミング組立体(10)。
- 前記単一の一体成形の可撓性本体(14b)が、前記カム位相器(22)の少なくとも一部分及び前記同心カムシャフト(12)の少なくとも一部分に対して前記可撓性本体(14b)を通して接続するために前記可撓性本体(14b)内に互いに間隔を空けた位置に形成された複数の開口(14c、14d)を有する、請求項6に記載の可変カムタイミング組立体(10)。
