Claims (4)
- 同心カムシャフト(12)の内側カムシャフト(12a)と外側カムシャフト(12b)との間に連結されたカム位相器(22)を有する、自動車の内燃機関用の可変カムタイミングアセンブリ(10)において、
前記同心カムシャフト(12)の前記内側カムシャフト(12a)と前記外側カムシャフト(12b)との間で回転トルクを伝達するために、前記同心カムシャフト(12)の前記内側カムシャフト(12a)と前記外側カムシャフト(12b)との間に連結されたねじり駆動機構(14)を有し、
前記ねじり駆動機構(14)は、前記カム位相器(22)のハウジング部分(28)に連結された複数の被動歯(14a)を有し、
前記ねじり駆動機構(14)は、前記カム位相器(22)と、前記同心カムシャフト(12)の前記内側カムシャフト(12a)および前記外側カムシャフト(12b)の少なくとも1つとの間の、ねじり方向に剛性の連結を維持しながら、垂直度および軸ずれを吸収し、
前記ねじり駆動機構(14)の前記複数の被動歯(14a)は、回転軸を有するとともに、前記カム位相器(22)の前記ハウジング部分(28)に連結された第1の被動歯部分(140a)と、前記外側カムシャフト(12b)に連結された第2の被動歯部分(140b)とに横に分割された、被動ギヤ(140)を含む、
可変カムタイミングアセンブリ(10)。 - 前記被動ギヤ(140)の第1の被動歯部分(140a)および第2の被動歯部分(140b)の両方と駆動係合した単一の共通駆動ギヤ(142)をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の可変カムタイミングアセンブリ(10)。
- 同心カムシャフト(12)の内側カムシャフト(12a)と外側カムシャフト(12b)との間に連結されたカム位相器(22)を有する、自動車の内燃機関用の可変カムタイミングアセンブリ(10)において、
前記同心カムシャフト(12)の前記内側カムシャフト(12a)と前記外側カムシャフト(12b)との間で回転トルクを伝達するために、前記同心カムシャフト(12)の前記内側カムシャフト(12a)と前記外側カムシャフト(12b)との間に連結されたねじり駆動機構(14)を有し、
前記ねじり駆動機構(14)は、前記カム位相器(22)のハウジング部分(28)に連結された複数の被動歯(14a)を有し、
前記ねじり駆動機構(14)は、前記カム位相器(22)と、前記同心カムシャフト(12)の前記内側カムシャフト(12a)および前記外側カムシャフト(12b)の少なくとも1つとの間の、ねじり方向に剛性の連結を維持しながら、垂直度および軸ずれを吸収し、
前記ねじり駆動機構(14)の前記複数の被動歯(14a)は、回転軸を有するとともに、前記カム位相器(22)の前記ハウジング部分(28)に連結された第1の被動歯部分(240a)と、前記外側カムシャフト(12b)に連結された第2の被動歯部分(240b)とに横に分割された、被動スプロケットリングギヤ(240)を含む、
可変カムタイミングアセンブリ(10)。 - 前記被動スプロケットリングギヤ(240)の両方の被動歯部分(240a、240b)と駆動係合した共通の無限ループ可撓性駆動部材(242)をさらに含む、請求項3に記載の可変カムタイミングアセンブリ(10)。
