第2絶縁基板と、前記第2絶縁基板の前記第1基板と対向する側に配置され前記第1配向膜と対向する第2配向膜と、を備えた第2基板と、
前記第1配向膜と前記第2配向膜との間のセルギャップに保持された液晶層と、
を備えた、液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1バンクは、前記アクティブエリアを囲む連続的な枠状に形成された、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
