Claims (7)
- アクセルペダルの踏み込み量に応動する内燃エンジンの回転を、トルクコンバータと自動変速機とを介して駆動輪に伝達するとともに、前記トルクコンバータのロックアップとロックアップの解放とを行うロックアップクラッチを備えた車両駆動装置において、
前記アクセルペダルの解放を検出するアクセルペダル解放検出手段と、
エンジン回転速度を検出するエンジン回転速度検出手段と、
車両が前記ロックアップクラッチを締結した状態で走行中に前記アクセルペダルが解放された場合に、前記ロックアップクラッチを解放するとともに、前記自動変速機をアップシフトするアップシフト手段と、
前記アクセルペダルが解放された状態で前記エンジン回転速度が所定のリカバリ回転速度以上の場合に前記内燃エンジンへの燃料供給を停止するフュエルカット実行手段と、
前記フュエルカット実行手段による前記内燃エンジンへの燃料供給停止中に前記エンジン回転速度が前記リカバリ回転速度を下回ると前記内燃エンジンへの燃料供給を再開するフュエルリカバリ実行手段と、
前記フュエルカット実行手段による燃料供給停止と、前記アップシフト手段によるロックアップクラッチ解放と、前記アップシフト手段によるアップシフトとが並行して行われた場合に前記フュエルリカバリ実行手段による前記内燃エンジンへの燃料供給の再開が行われるかどうか、を予測するフュエルリカバリ予測手段と、
前記フュエルリカバリ予測手段が前記内燃エンジンへの燃料供給の再開を予測した場合に、前記フュエルカット手段による前記内燃エンジンへの燃料供給停止の実行を抑制するフュエルカット抑制手段と、を備えたことを特徴とする車両駆動装置。 - アップシフト後の変速段の変速比と走行速度とに基づきアップシフト後のエンジン回転速度を予測するエンジン回転速度予測手段をさらに備え、前記予測手段は、前記アップシフト後のエンジン回転速度が前記リカバリ回転速度を下回る場合に、前記フュエルリカバリ実行手段による前記内燃エンジンへの燃料供給の再開が行なわれると予測するよう構成される、請求項1に記載の車両駆動装置。
- 前記リカバリ回転速度として、前記ロックアップクラッチの解放状態で適用されるロックアップOFF用リカバリ回転速度と、前記ロックアップクラッチの非解放状態で適用される、ロックアップOFF用リカバリ回転速度より低速のロックアップON用リカバリ回転速度とが前記ロックアップクラッチの状態に応じて選択的に適用されるとともに、前記フュエルリカバリ予測手段は前記自動変速機のアップシフト直後の前記エンジン回転速度が前記ロックアップOFF用リカバリ回転速度を下回らない場合は、前記フュエルリカバリ実行手段による前記内燃エンジンへの燃料供給の再開を予測しないよう構成される、請求項1または2に記載の車両駆動装置。
- 前記フュエルカット抑制手段は前記フュエルカット実行手段が適用する前記所定のリカバリ回転速度を前記ロックアップON用リカバリ回転速度からロックアップOFF用リカバリ回転速度へ切り換えることにより、前記内燃エンジンへの燃料供給停止の実行を抑制するよう構成された、請求項3に記載の車両駆動装置。
- エンジンと、
前記エンジンから駆動輪までの動力伝達経路中に配置されたロックアップクラッチ付きトルクコンバータおよび自動変速機と、
車両走行中、アクセルペダル解放に伴い、エンジンのフュエルカットと、ロックアップクラッチ解放と、自動変速機のアップシフトと、を実施する制御手段と、
前記フュエルカットと前記ロックアップクラッチ解放と前記アップシフトとを並行して実施することに伴いフュエルリカバリが実施されるか否か、を予測するフュエルリカバリ予測手段と、

を備えたことを特徴とする車両駆動装置。 - 前記制御手段は、フュエルカット中のエンジン回転速度がリカバリ回転速度を下回るときフュエルリカバリを実施し、
前記フュエルリカバリ予測手段は、アップシフト後のエンジン回転速度が前記リカバリ回転速度より小さい場合に前記フュエルカットと前記ロックアップクラッチ解放と前記アップシフトとを並行して実施することに伴いフュエルリカバリが実施される、と予測することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の車両駆動装置。 - 前記制御手段は、フュエルカット中のエンジン回転速度がリカバリ回転速度を下回る場合にフュエルリカバリを実施し、ロックアップクラッチが締結状態の場合は前記リカバリ回転速度をロックアップクラッチ締結時用リカバリ回転速度にするとともに、ロックアップクラッチが完全解放状態の場合は前記リカバリ回転速度を前記ロックアップクラッチ締結時用リカバリ回転速度より高いロックアップクラッチ解放時用リカバリ回転速度にし、
前記フュエルカット禁止手段は、アクセルペダル解放時のリカバリ回転速度を、ロックアップクラッチの解放 / 締結状態とは無関係に、前記ロックアップクラッチ締結時用リカバリ回転速度から前記ロックアップクラッチ解放時用リカバリ回転速度に変更して、前記フュエルカットの禁止を実施することを特徴とする請求項5あるいは6に記載の車両駆動装置。
