Description
(a)一つの連続相と一つの分散相を含む少なくとも一つの前乳濁液を、ローター・ステータ機、ローター・ローター機に通して、連続相及び/又は分散相とする工程と、
(b)必要なら、一種以上の他の成分を該ローター・ステータ機中の少なくとも一種の前乳濁液に添加する工程と、
(c)該少なくとも一種の融点が室温より高い物質の融点より最大で10K高い温度で、またはもし該室温より高い融点をもつ物質がポリマーである場合、そのガラス転移温度または融点より最小で10K低く、最大で10K高い温度で、機械的剪断及び/又は延伸及び/又は乱流により該少なくとも一種の前乳濁液を乳化させて微分散乳濁液を形成する工程と、
(d)該微分散乳濁液を冷却して微分散懸濁液を製造する工程と
を含み、
少なくとも工程(c)では分散相の比率が85〜99.5%の範囲であるプロセスを提供することで達成される。
処理工程(a)では、いずれの場合も一つの連続相と一つの分散相を含む少なくとも一種の前もって調整した前乳濁液を、好ましくはある容器からローター・ステータ機またはローター・ローター機に通過させる。この通過は、供給部及び/又は供給チューブまたは供給ホースなどの一台以上の供給装置から行うことができる。必要ならポンプや加圧または減圧で供給が行われる。しかしながら、このいずれの場合も一つの連続相と一つの分散相からなる少なくとも一種の前もって調整した前乳濁液を、他の連続相、分散相またはこれらの混合物に通過させることもできる。また、この少なくとも一種の前もって調整した前乳濁液を、他の方法で加熱してもよい。
Claims (14)
- 溶融乳化により少なくとも一種の融点が室温より高い物質を含む微分散懸濁液を製造するプロセスであって、
(a)一つの連続相と一つの分散相を含む少なくとも一つの前乳濁液を、ローター・ステータ機、ローター・ローター機に通して、連続相及び/又は分散相とする工程と、
(b)該少なくとも一種の融点が室温より高い物質の融点より最大で10K高い温度で、またはもし該室温より高い融点をもつ物質がポリマーである場合、ガラス転移温度または融点より最小で10K低く、最大で10K高い温度で、機械的剪断及び/又は延伸及び/又は乱流により該少なくとも一種の前乳濁液を乳化させて、微分散乳濁液を形成する工程と、
(c)該微分散乳濁液を冷却して微分散懸濁液を製造する工程と
を含み、
少なくとも工程(b)では分散相の比率は85〜99.5%の範囲であるプロセス。 - 一種以上の他の成分を前記ローター・ステータ機中の前記少なくとも一つの前乳濁液に添加する工程を更に含む請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 分散相が微細な液滴に破砕され、均一に分散され、該微細液滴の平均液滴サイズが0.05〜100μmの範囲になるように乳化させる請求項2に記載のプロセス。
- 室温で固体の物質の融点またはガラス転移温度未満に加熱された他の連続相を添加することにより、工程(c)において、上記のように製造された微分散乳濁液を希釈する請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 上記の冷却と希釈が同時に処理工程(c)で行われる請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 上記少なくとも一種の融点が室温より高い物質が、ワックス、脂肪、ポリマー及びオリゴマーからなる群から選ばれる請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- 少なくとも一種の熱可塑性ポリマーがポリマーとして使用される請求項6に記載のプロセス。
- 上記少なくとも一種の熱可塑性ポリマーが石油系のものではない請求項7に記載のプロセス。
- 工程(c)で用いられる連続相が、相互に独立して、水、ジエチレングリコール、トリエチレングリコール、ポリエチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、ポリプロピレングリコール、ポリエーテルオール、グリセロール、有機カーボネート及び炭酸エステルからなる群から選択される請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- 用いられる助剤及び/又は他の成分が、乳化剤及び/又は分散助剤及び/又は保護コロイド及び/又はレオロジー添加物の群の安定化助剤である請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- 上記レオロジー添加物が増粘剤である請求項10に記載のプロセス。
- 工程(c)で同時の冷却と希釈が分散相成分の最終濃度が1〜70重量%となるまで行われる請求項4〜11のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- 工程(a)でのローター・ステータ機への投入の直前に一種以上の粗前分散液及び/又は粗前乳濁液がT字部または噴射器を経由して通過する請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記粗前分散液及び/又は粗前乳濁液を異なる温度に前加熱する請求項13に記載のプロセス。
