Description
・第1に、スリーブを後退させて2つの部品を分離することで、残圧に起因してニップル部品が弾け飛んで人身傷害又は損害を引き起こしてはならない。2つの部品の完全分離が可能になる前に残圧を逃がす中間保持段階があるべきである。
・第2に、雌半体のスリーブの端の周りに保護カラーがあることが望ましい。この保護カラーは、スリーブが誤って後退する結果として分離が生じることを防止する。保護カラーは、例えばホースが床で引きずられる際に、又は障害物のある環境で、スリーブの端に軸方向のスリーブ後退力が加わることを防止する。
Claims (7)
- 周方向ニップル溝を有する標準流動媒体ニップルとの結合に適した雌カップリング半体であって、
・カップリングを通る流動媒体の流れを制御するための、前記ニップルを受け入れる円筒状ソケットを有する本体(2)を有する弁(1)と、
・該弁を摺動可能に保持し、複数の軸方向貫通スロット(6)を設けた管(4)と、
・それぞれが両端に近位移動止め(15)及び遠位移動止め(8)を有し、それぞれが前記軸方向貫通スロット(6)のそれぞれに保持される複数の爪(7)と、
・前記管(4)を包囲する手動で軸方向に変位可能なばね付勢スリーブ(10)であり、該スリーブ(10)の選択した軸方向位置で前記周方向ニップル溝に係合した爪遠位移動止め(8)の係脱を可能にする、少なくとも1つの内側周方向空洞(11)を設けたスリーブ(10)と
を備えた雌カップリング半体において、
前記弁(1)の前記本体(2)の外部に周方向溝(14)を設け、該周方向溝(14)に前記爪それぞれの端間にある突起(13)が収まり、それによって各爪を前記弁の本体と共に軸方向に移動させることを特徴とする雌カップリング半体。 - 請求項1に記載の雌カップリング半体において、各爪(7)の前記近位移動止め(15)を、前記管の遠位周方向外側凹部(16)から近位外側凹部(17)へ変位させて、前記雌カップリング半体と前記ニップルとを完全に結合させることができ、前記弁が開くことを特徴とする雌カップリング半体。
- 請求項1に記載の雌カップリング半体において、前記手動で軸方向に変位可能なばね付勢スリーブ(10)に、遠位内側周方向空洞(11)及び近位内側周方向空洞(12)を設け、前記スリーブ(10)を後退させると[図10]、前記近位内側周方向空洞(12)が前記近位外側凹部(17)の上に配置されて、各近位移動止め(15)を前記近位外側凹部(17)に収まる完全結合した弁開放位置から出すと共に前記遠位外側凹部(16)へ移動させることができ、それによって前記弁が閉じて前記ニップルと前記弁(1)との間の圧力が逃がされることを特徴とする雌カップリング半体。
- 請求項3に記載の雌カップリング半体において、前記近位内側周方向空洞(12)の近位端面(19)が斜めであることを特徴とする雌カップリング半体。
- 請求項3に記載の雌カップリング半体において、前記ばね付勢スリーブ(10)の前記後退時に、各遠位移動止め(8)を前記周方向ニップル溝内に保持することによって前記ニップルが即座に完全に解放されないようにすることを特徴とする雌カップリング半体。
- 請求項5に記載の雌カップリング半体において、各爪(7)のヒール(18)が前記スリーブ(10)とその後退位置で係合して該スリーブ(10)を保持することによって、各遠位移動止め(8)を前記周方向ニップル溝内に保持することを特徴とする雌カップリング半体。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の雌カップリング半体において、該雌カップリング半体は、圧縮空気との使用に適していることを特徴とする雌カップリング半体。
