Claims (5)
- エンジンの排気通路に設けられて排気を浄化するNOx吸蔵触媒と、
前記NOx吸蔵触媒よりも上流側に配されて前記排気通路に還元剤として炭化水素を噴射する還元剤供給手段と、
前記NOx吸蔵触媒の温度を検出する温度検出手段と、
前記還元剤供給手段を制御して前記排気通路に還元剤を間欠的に供給して前記NOx吸蔵触媒から流出する排気の空燃比がリッチに保たれるようにするリッチ継続期間を含み、且つ前記NOx吸蔵触媒の温度を設定温度以上とすることで、前記NOx吸蔵触媒に吸蔵された排気成分を放出させる再生処理を実行する再生処理実行手段と、
前記リッチ継続期間において、前記温度検出手段によって検出された前記NOx吸蔵触媒の温度と前記設定温度との温度差に応じて前記還元剤供給手段による前記還元剤の供給間隔を変更する間隔変更手段と、
を備えることを特徴とするエンジンの排気浄化装置。 - 請求項1に記載のエンジンの排気浄化装置において、
前記間隔変更手段は、前記NOx吸蔵触媒の温度が前記設定温度よりも高い状態では、前記温度差が大きいほど前記供給間隔を短くすることを特徴とするエンジンの排気浄化装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載のエンジンの排気浄化装置において、
前記間隔変更手段は、前記NOx吸蔵触媒の温度が前記設定温度よりも低い状態では、前記温度差が大きいほど前記供給間隔を長くすることを特徴とするエンジンの排気浄化装置。 - 請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載のエンジンの排気浄化装置において、
前記再生処理実行手段は、前記再生処理として、前記リッチ継続期間と、前記排気通路への還元剤の供給を停止して前記NOx吸蔵触媒から流出する排気の空燃比がリーンになるようにする長リーン期間とを交互に繰り返し実行することを特徴とするエンジンの排気浄化装置。 - 請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載のエンジンの排気浄化装置において、
前記NOx吸蔵触媒から流出する排気の空燃比を検出する空燃比検出手段を備え、
前記間隔変更手段は、前記温度検出手段によって検出された前記NOx吸蔵触媒の温度と前記設定温度との温度差に応じて前記NOx吸蔵触媒から流出する排気の目標空燃比を変更し、
前記再生処理実行手段は、前記空燃比検出手段によって検出された前記NOx吸蔵触媒から流出する排気の空燃比が前記目標空燃比よりもリッチ側になると、前記NOx吸蔵触媒から流出する排気の空燃比が前記目標空燃比に近づくように前記還元剤供給手段による燃料の供給間隔をフィードバック制御することを特徴とするエンジンの排気浄化装置。
