Description

医療用カテーテルアセンブリであって、以下:
一対の内部管腔の各々の少なくとも一部分を画定する隔壁を含む細長いカテーテル部材と;
上記細長いカテーテル部材の遠位端に連結され、そして上記隔壁によって画定される平面に関して対称であるカテーテル先端部であって、上記カテーテル先端部は遠位部分および近位部分、上面、下面、ならびに上記上面と上記下面との間の側面を含み、上記遠位部分は閉じた遠位端を含む、カテーテル先端部とを備え、上記カテーテル先端部が:
第1の管腔および第2の管腔と、
上記カテーテル先端部の遠位部分にある第1の開口部および第2の開口部と、を画定し、各々の開口部は上記カテーテル先端部の個々の側面によって規定され、各々の開口部は上記カテーテル先端部の上記第1の管腔および上記第2の管腔の個々の1つと、そして上記細長いカテーテル部材の第1の管腔および第2の管腔の個々の1つと流体連通し;
上記カテーテル先端部の上面と下面との間の距離が、上記近位部分の遠位端から上記閉じた遠位端に向かって減少する、医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
(項目2)
上記近位部分に沿った上記上面と上記下面との間の上記距離が、上記遠位部分に隣接する遠位方向で増加する、上記項目に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
(項目3)
上記カテーテル先端部の近位部分が、湾曲した長球状領域によって画定される、上記項目のいずれか一項に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
(項目4)
上記第1の開口部および上記第2の開口部が、各々細長い卵形である、上記項目のいずれか一項に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
(項目5)
上記細長いカテーテル部材が長手方向軸を画定し、そして上記第1の開口部および上記第2の開口部が上記長手方向軸に沿って上記カテーテル先端部の遠位端から所定の距離で間隔を置かれる、上記項目のいずれか一項に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
(項目6)
上記第1の管腔および上記第2の管腔の断面形状が半円形である、上記項目のいずれか一項に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
(項目7)
上記細長いカテーテル部材および上記カテーテル先端部が、それらの間に延びる少なくとも1つの連結部材によって連結される、上記項目のいずれか一項に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
(項目8)
上記少なくとも1つの連結部材が、上記細長いカテーテル部材および上記カテーテル先端部と流体連通するチャネルを画定する、上記項目のいずれか一項に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
(項目9)
上記少なくとも1つの連結部材が近位端および遠位端を含み、そして上記連結部材の遠位端が上記第1の開口部および上記第2の開口部の1つと隣接している、上記項目のいずれか一項に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
(項目10)
上記第1の開口部および上記第2の開口部が各々輪郭のある周を有する、上記項目のいずれか一項に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
(項目11)
医療用カテーテルアセンブリであって、以下:
一対の管腔を画定する細長い管状部材であって、長手方向軸を画定する細長い管状部材と;
上記細長い管状部材の遠位部分上に配置されたカテーテル先端部と、を備え、
上記カテーテル先端部は一対の正反対の側面開口部を画定し、各々の側面開口部は上記一対の管腔の1つの管腔と流体連通し、各々の側面開口部は近位端および遠位端を有し、各々の側面開口部は横断軸を画定する矩形の中央部分ならびに三角形の近位方向および遠位方向に延びる部分を含む細長い実質的にZ形状である形態を有し、上記三角形の近位方向に延びる部分は上記側面開口部の近位端で頂点を画定し、そして上記三角形の遠位方向に延びる部分は上記側面開口部の遠位端で頂点を画定し、そして上記矩形の中央部分の横断軸が上記細長い管状部材の長手方向軸と鋭角を画定する、医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
(項目12)
上記鋭角が、約15゜と約75゜との間である、上記項目のいずれか一項に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
(項目13)
上記細長い管状部材が、上記一対の管腔の各々の少なくとも一部分を画定する隔壁を備え、上記隔壁が上記長手方向軸に対して平行に延び、上記細長い管状部材が上記隔壁によって画定される平面に関して対称である、上記項目のいずれか一項に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
(項目14)
上記一対の側面開口部の各々が、輪郭のあるエッジを有する、上記項目のいずれか一項に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
(項目15)
上記側面開口部の各々の近位端および遠位端が、丸い、上記項目のいずれか一項に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
医療用カテーテルアセンブリは、細長いカテーテル部材の遠位端に連結されたカテーテル先端部を含み、そして該細長いカテーテル部材の隔壁によって画定される平面に関して対称である。このカテーテル先端部は第1の管腔および第2の管腔を画定し、そしてこのカテーテル先端部は上記カテーテル先端部の遠位部分に第1の開口部および第2の開口部を画定する。上記カテーテル先端部の各々の開口部は上記カテーテル先端部の個々の側面によって画定される。各々の開口部は、上記カテーテル先端部の第1の管腔および第2の管腔の個々の1つと、そして上記細長いカテーテル部材によって画定される一対の管腔の個々の1つと流体連通している。上記カテーテル先端部の下面と上面との間の距離は、上記近位部分の遠位端から上記カテーテル先端部の閉じた遠位端に向かって減少する。
本明細書に開示されるカテーテルの実施形態が、流体の投与のための医療用カテーテルの観点から、より詳細には、血液透析カテーテルの観点から論議される。しかし、本明細書の開示は、被験体の、外科的、診断的および疾患および身体の不快の関連する処置を含む所定範囲のカテーテル適用で採用され得ることが想定される。さらに、本明細書に開示されるカテーテルに関係する原理は、慢性および/または急性適用における、例えば、血液透析、心臓、腹部、泌尿器、腸、を含むことが想定される。
Claims (8)
- 医療用カテーテルアセンブリであって、該医療用カテーテルアセンブリは、
一対の内部管腔の各々の少なくとも一部分を画定する隔壁を含む細長いカテーテル部材と、
該細長いカテーテル部材の遠位端に結合されたカテーテル先端部であって、該カテーテル先端部は、該隔壁によって画定された平面に関して対称であり、該カテーテル先端部は、遠位部分および近位部分と、上面と、下面と、該上面と該下面との間の側面とを含み、該遠位部分は、閉じた遠位端を含む、カテーテル先端部と
を備え、
該カテーテル先端部は、
第1の管腔および第2の管腔と、
該カテーテル先端部の該遠位部分にある第1の開口部および第2の開口部と
を画定し、各開口部は、該カテーテル先端部の個々の側面によって画定され、各開口部は、該カテーテル先端部の該第1の管腔および該第2の管腔の個々の1つと流体連通し、かつ、該細長いカテーテル部材の第1の管腔および第2の管腔の個々の1つと流体連通し、
該カテーテル先端部の該上面と該下面との間の距離は、該近位部分の近位端から該閉じた遠位端に向かって減少し、
該カテーテル先端部の該近位部分は、該上面と該下面との間の側面を含み、該側面は、該遠位部分に向かう方向で外側にそれる、医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。 - 前記第1の開口部および前記第2の開口部の各々は、細長い卵形である、請求項1に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記細長いカテーテル部材は、長手方向軸を画定し、前記第1の開口部および前記第2の開口部は、該長手方向軸に沿って前記カテーテル先端部の前記遠位端から所定の距離で間隔を置かれている、請求項1〜2のいずれか1項に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記第1の内部管腔および前記第2の内部管腔の断面形状が半円形である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記細長いカテーテル部材および前記カテーテル先端部は、それらの間に延びる少なくとも1つの連結部材によって連結されている、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記少なくとも1つの連結部材は、前記細長いカテーテル部材および前記カテーテル先端部と流体連通するチャネルを画定する、請求項5に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記少なくとも1つの連結部材は、近位端および遠位端を含み、該連結部材の該遠位端は、第1の側面開口部および第2の側面開口部のうちの1つと隣接している、請求項6に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記上面および前記下面は、平面状である、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の医療用カテーテルアセンブリ。
