Description
(1)液体供給物および噴霧化気体がノズルヘッドの内部で接触する内部混合方式と、
(2)液体供給物および噴霧化気体がノズルヘッドの外部で接触する外部混合方式と、
(3)ノズルヘッド内部において2つの噴霧化気体流れを用いることによる内部混合および外部混合の組合せ方式(3流体ノズル)と、
(4)供給液体および噴霧化気体が回転ノズルヘッドのリムにおいて接触する空気カップ噴霧化方式と、である。
リチウムイオン電池粉末のスプレー乾燥
リチウムイオン電池の粉末を、GEA Niro SD6.3パイロットスプレー乾燥機において、外部混合方式の従来型2流体ノズルと、本発明によるGEA Niro COMBI−NOZZLE(商標)とを用いてスプレー乾燥した。結果を表1に示す。
e−PVCラテックスのスプレー乾燥
e−PVCラテックスは、多くの場合、微小な粉末粒子を作製するためにスプレー乾燥され、通常、この目的のためには多数の従来型2流体ノズルが必要になる。それは、約20ミクロンの必要平均粒子サイズを作製するには、これらのノズルの最大容量がおよそ50〜65kg/hであるからである。本発明によるノズルを適用することによって、大幅に低い圧縮空気の使用量でより小さい平均粒子サイズを実現することが可能になる。さらに、COMBI−NOZZLE(商標)の液体供給容量は、200kg/h、500kg/h、あるいはそれより多くにすることが可能である。
高粘度溶融物の噴霧
ポリマーの高粘度溶融物を、COMBI−NOZZLE(商標)を用いて以下の条件でスプレー凝固させた。従来型の噴霧技術の場合は、液滴の形成の貧弱さから生じるフィラメントの形成によって、溶融物を満足し得る形で凝固させることができなかった。
Claims (12)
- 液体の圧力と気体とによって液体を噴霧するための外部混合型加圧2流体ノズルを備えるスプレー乾燥装置であって、前記ノズルは、上流側端部および下流側端部の間に軸方向に延びる内側の供給液体管(1)であって、供給液体導管(2)、前記上流側端部に位置する供給液体流入口(3)、および前記下流側端部に位置する送出オリフィス(4)を有する内側の供給液体管(1)と、前記内側の供給液体管(1)の半径方向の外側に延びる同軸の第1気体管(5)であって、前記第1気体管(5)および前記内側の供給液体管(1)の間に第1気体導管(6)を形成する第1気体管(5)とを含み、前記第1気体管(5)は、前記下流側端部に位置する気体流出スリット(7)を有するスプレー乾燥装置において、前記ノズルが、前記第1気体管(5)の半径方向の外側に延びる同軸の第2気体管(8)であって、前記第2気体管(8)および前記第1気体管(5)の間に第2気体導管(9)を形成する第2気体管(8)をさらに含み、前記第1気体導管(6)は前記上流側端部において閉止され、前記第2気体導管(9)は前記下流側端部において閉止され、ここで、前記第1気体導管(6)および前記第2気体導管(9)は、気体流れの旋回運動をもたらすように調整される1つ以上のスロット(10)によって結合されることを特徴とするスプレー乾燥装置。
- 請求項1に記載のノズルにおいて、前記気体流出スリット(7)と、前記送出オリフィス(4)とがほぼ同じ水平位置にあることを特徴とするスプレー乾燥装置。
- 請求項1または2に記載のノズルにおいて、前記内側の供給液体管(1)と、前記第1気体管(5)と、前記第2気体管(8)とが同心でありかつ筒状であることを特徴とするスプレー乾燥装置。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のノズルにおいて、前記気体流出スリット(7)が環状であることを特徴とするスプレー乾燥装置。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のノズルにおいて、前記第1気体導管(6)および前記第2気体導管(9)を結合する前記1つ以上のスロット(10)が、前記内側の供給液体管(1)の外面に対して接線方向に延びていることを特徴とするスプレー乾燥装置。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のノズルにおいて、前記1つ以上のスロットが、水平面に対して、上向きまたは下向きの角度に向けられることを特徴とするスプレー乾燥装置。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のノズルにおいて、前記内側の供給液体管(1)および前記第1気体管(5)が、前記下流側端部において中心に向かって半径方向に先細になっていることを特徴とするスプレー乾燥装置。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のノズルにおいて、前記内側の供給液体管(1)の摩耗部分が耐摩耗性のセラミック材料製であることを特徴とするスプレー乾燥装置。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のスプレー乾燥装置において、前記内側の供給液体管および/または前記第1気体管が、交換可能であることを特徴とするスプレー乾燥装置。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のスプレー乾燥装置において、前記内側の供給液体管および/または前記第1気体管が、1つ以上のインサートを受け入れるように調整されることを特徴とするスプレー乾燥装置。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のスプレー乾燥装置において、前記第2気体管の外壁面がランスに装着し得るように調整されることを特徴とするスプレー乾燥装置。
- リチウムイオン電池用粉末、電池用粉末、ポリマー粉末、デンプンまたはゼラチン粉末、コーヒー粉末、摩耗性供給物の粉末、無機材料粉末、硬質金属粉末、薬品粉末、および凝固粉末からなる群から選択されるスプレー乾燥粉末製造のための、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の外部混合型2流体ノズルを備えるスプレー乾燥装置の使用。
