Claims (9)
- 等速自在継手の外側継手部材の底壁バック面にフェイススプラインを成形するフェイススプライン成形装置であって、
フェイススプラインを成形するための歯部を有し、軸心が前記外側継手部材の軸心に対して所定角度で傾斜するパンチ部材と、外側継手部材のカップ部の開口端面を受ける端面受面とを有する受け台と、外側継手部材のカップ部の底壁内面を受ける内面受面を有する軸部材と、受け台と軸部材とを相対的に軸方向に変位させる移動機構と、移動機構を制御してカップ部の開口端面とカップ部の底壁内面との同時受圧を可能とする制御手段とを備え、同時受圧時において、外側継手部材の軸心廻りのパンチ部材の回転によるパンチ部材揺動運動にて、底壁バック面にパンチ部材の歯部による塑性変形によってフェイススプラインを成形することを特徴とするフェイススプライン成形装置。 - 受け台と軸部材との相対的な軸方向の変位は、前記軸部材の軸方向の移動であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフェイススプライン成形装置。
- 前記移動機構は、ねじ構造で構成したことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のフェイススプライン成形装置。
- 前記移動機構は、サーボモータを用いたサーボ機構にて構成したことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のフェイススプライン成形装置。
- フェイススプラインを成形するための歯部を有し、軸心が前記外側継手部材の軸心に対して所定角度で傾斜するパンチ部材と、外側継手部材のカップ部の開口端面を受ける端面受面とを有する受け台と、外側継手部材のカップ部の底壁内面を受ける内面受面を有する軸部材とを備えたフェイススプライン成形装置を用いて、外側継手部材の底壁バック面にフェイススプラインを成形するためのフェイススプライン成形方法であって、
受け台と軸部材とを相対的に軸方向に変位させることによって、カップ部の開口端面とカップ部の底壁内面との同時受圧状態を形成し、その後、この同時受圧状態を維持しつつ外側継手部材の軸心廻りのパンチ部材の回転によるパンチ部材揺動運動を行って、底壁バック面にパンチ部材の歯部による塑性変形によってフェイススプラインを成形することを特徴とするフェイススプライン成形方法。 - 受け台にてカップ部の開口端面を受けた状態を基準として、受け台と軸部材とを相対的に軸方向に変位させて、軸部材にてカップ部の底壁内面を受ける状態とすることによって、パンチ部材揺動運動には、カップ部の開口端面とカップ部の底壁内面との同時受圧状態とすることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のフェイススプライン成形方法。
- カップ部の底壁内面の受圧面積をS1とし、カップ部の開口端面の受圧面積をS2とし、塑性変形時の成形荷重をPとし、カップ部の底壁内面にかかる荷重をP1としたときに、P1=S1・P/(S1+S2)とすることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のフェイススプライン成形方法。
- 軸部材にてカップ部の底壁内面を受けた状態を基準として、受け台と軸部材とを相対的に軸方向に変位させて、受け台にてカップ部の開口端面を受ける状態とすることによって、パンチ部材揺動運動には、カップ部の開口端面とカップ部の底壁内面との同時受圧状態とすることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のフェイススプライン成形方法。
- カップ部の底壁内面の受圧面積をS1とし、カップ部の開口端面の受圧面積をS2とし、塑性変形時の成形荷重をPとし、カップ部の開口端面にかかる荷重をP2としたときに、P2=S2・P/(S1+S2)とすることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のフェイススプライン成形方法。
