Claims (3)
- シリンダと、
当該シリンダを覆ってこのシリンダとの間にリザーバを形成する外筒と、
当該外筒の端部を蓋するロアキャップと、
上記シリンダの端部に嵌合されるとともに当該シリンダと上記ロアキャップとで挟持されて上記シリンダ内と上記リザーバとを仕切るバルブケースと、
当該バルブケースに設けられて上記シリンダ内から上記リザーバへ向かう流体の流れに抵抗を与えるベースバルブとを備えた緩衝器において、
上記ロアキャップが周方向の交互に配置して設けた凹部と凸部を備え、
上記ロアキャップの凸部は、上記シリンダ内側へ突出するとともに上記バルブケースに当接するテーパ面状或いは球面状の当接面を有し、
上記ロアキャップの凹部は、上記バルブケースとの間に隙間を形成し、当該隙間を介してリザーバとシリンダ内とが連通し、
上記ロアキャップの凸部と上記バルブケースとの当接部を、上記シリンダの端部を軸方向に投影した範囲内に収めたことを特徴とする緩衝器。 - 上記バルブケースは、円盤状であって、上記シリンダに嵌合される小径嵌合部と、上記小径嵌合部より外径が大径であって上記シリンダと上記ロアキャップとの間に挟持される大径挟持部とを備え、当該大径挟持部の反シリンダ端外周を上記凸部へ当接させたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の緩衝器。
- 上記大径挟持部の上記凸部へ当接する外縁を面取したことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の緩衝器。
