Description
炭素繊維をベースとする多軸の布帛を多軸設備(型式「Cut&Lay」Carbon、Karl Mayer Textilmaschinenfabrik GmbH社)において製造した。このために、まず、134g/m2の単位面積当たり質量を有する個別層を、互いに平行に並置されて互いに接触する炭素繊維糸(TenaxR‐E IMS65 E23 24k 830tex;Toho Tenax Europe GmbH社)から製造した。この個別層を2層、下位の層が多軸の布帛の生産方向に関して+45°の角度αを有し、上位の層が−45°の角度αを有するように、上下に重置した。こうして上下に配置した個別層を、縫い糸を用いて互いにフリンジステッチ結合で編成した。使用した縫い糸は、例1では、コポリアミドからなり、23dtexの繊度を有している。例2では、35dtexの繊度を有するポリエステルからなる縫い糸を使用した。ステッチ長sは2.6mm、ステッチ幅wは5mmである。
例1と同様に行った。しかし、比較例1では、48dtexの番手を有するポリエステル縫い糸を使用し、比較例2では、75dtexの番手を有するポリエステル縫い糸を使用した。縫い糸を刺し通すことにより惹起され開き角δにより示された繊維変向についての結果、及びこの繊維変向により生じたうねり面Aについての結果も、表1に示した。
縫い糸の繊度の相違がラミネートの機械的な特性に及ぼす影響を見るために、例1において説明したように、布帛(タイプ1)を、134g/m2の単位面積当たり質量を有する、互いに平行に並置されて互いに接触する炭素繊維糸(TenaxR‐E IMS65 E23 24k 830tex;Toho Tenax Europe GmbH社)からなる、+45°及び−45°に配向された2つの個別層から製造した。同様に、−45°及び+45°に個別層を配向した布帛を形成した(タイプ2)。タイプ1及びタイプ2の布帛の個別層を、それぞれ、23dtex(例3)あるいは35dtex(例4)の繊度を有する縫い糸により、例1において説明したように、互いに縫合した。
例3と同様に行った。しかし、+45°/−45°の配向を有する布帛(タイプ1)及びこれに対して対称的な−45°/+45°の配向を有する布帛(タイプ2)を製造するために、比較例3では、48dtexの番手を有する縫い糸を使用した。結果を表2に示した。
例1あるいは3と同様に行った。23dtexの繊度の縫い糸を使用した。5mmのステッチ幅wを維持したまま、ステッチ長を変更した。ステッチ長sは、3.1mm(例5)、2.5mm(例6)及び2.2mm(例7)に設定した。
Claims (13)
- 層内において互いに平行に、かつ互いに接触するように隣り合って配置されたマルチフィラメント補強糸の、上下に配置された少なくとも2つの層からなる多軸の布帛であって、1つの層内及び隣接する層内の補強糸が、互いに平行に延びる、互いにステッチ幅wでもって間隔を置いた縫い糸により互いに結合されて、互いに固定されており、該縫い糸がステッチ長sを有するループを形成しており、該縫い糸によって前記布帛の零度方向が規定され、前記層の補強糸が、前記布帛の零度方向に関して対称的に配置されており、かつ前記補強糸の延在方向に関して、前記零度方向に対して角度αを形成し、該角度αが90°及び0°に等しくない多軸の布帛において、
前記縫い糸は、10〜35dtexの範囲の繊度を有し、かつ
前記縫い糸のステッチ長sは、前記ステッチ幅及び補強糸の角度α 1 に基づいて下記関係式(I)及び(II)を充足することを特徴とする、多軸の布帛。

- 前記縫い糸は、室温で≧50%の破断伸びを有している、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の多軸の布帛。
- 前記縫い糸は、10〜30dtexの範囲の繊度を有している、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の多軸の布帛。
- 前記縫い糸は、ポリエステル、ポリアミド若しくはポリヒドロキシエーテル又はこれらのポリマーのコポリマーからなるマルチフィラメント糸である、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の多軸の布帛。
- 前記マルチフィラメント補強糸は、炭素繊維糸、ガラス繊維糸又はアラミド糸又は高延伸UHMW‐ポリエチレン糸である、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の多軸の布帛。
- 前記少なくとも2つの層上及び/又は前記少なくとも2つの層間にフリースが配置されている、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載の多軸の布帛。
- 前記フリースは、5〜25g/m2の範囲の単位面積当たり質量を有している、請求項8記載の多軸の布帛。
- 前記フリースは、それぞれ異なる溶融温度を有する熱可塑性のポリマー成分からなる、請求項8又は9記載の多軸の布帛。
- 低い方の溶融温度を有するポリマー成分は、80〜135℃の範囲の溶融温度を有している、請求項10記載の多軸の布帛。
- 高い方の溶融温度を有するポリマー成分は、140〜250℃の範囲の溶融温度を有している、請求項10又は11記載の多軸の布帛。
- 複合材料構成部材を製造するためのプリフォームにおいて、請求項1から12までのいずれか1項記載の多軸の布帛を備えることを特徴とする、複合材料構成部材を製造するためのプリフォーム。
