Description
1000mlの塩化ニッケル溶液(82g/リットルNi)を、100gのシリカ粉末(Crosfield HP250)が分散された2000mlの水を含む、十分攪拌された容器(5リットル)中に投入することにより、促進されていない触媒を製造した。温度は60℃であり、pHは、910mlの炭酸ナトリウム溶液(225g/リットル)を断続的に加えることにより8.0に維持された。触媒前駆体の析出は、60分で完了した。
15.5gの塩化マンガン(MnCl2/6H2O)を塩化ニッケル溶液に添加したこと、および1100mlの炭酸ナトリウム溶液(225g/リットル)を使用してpHを8.0に維持したことを除いて、実施例1に記載された手順に従って触媒を製造した。
100gの珪藻土(Dicalite BP-3)を担体として使用したこと、析出が92℃で行われたこと、および820mlの炭酸ナトリウム溶液(225g/リットル)を使用してpHを8.0に維持したことを除いて、実施例1に記載された手順に従って触媒を製造した。
15.5gの塩化マンガン(MnCl2/6H2O)を塩化ニッケル溶液に添加したこと、および770mlの炭酸ナトリウム溶液(225g/リットル)を使用してpHを8.0に維持したことを除いて、実施例3に記載された手順に従って触媒を製造した。
比較ニッケル触媒およびマンガン促進された触媒の活性が、0.030重量%のニッケルに相当する触媒の量を用いて、200℃および20バールの水素圧で、56のヨウ素価(IV)を有する150gのタロー脂肪酸を水素化することにより決定された。マンガン促進された触媒の場合の、4.0のヨウ素価に達するために必要な時間が、同じ条件下で比較触媒の場合と比較された。4つの触媒全てに関して、水素吸着容量(HAC)が、上述したように決定され、90分後の最終IVがWijs法を使用して決定された。
Claims (20)
- 不飽和脂肪酸を水素化して飽和脂肪酸を製造する方法であって、水素および担持されたニッケル触媒の存在下で該不飽和脂肪酸を水素化することを含み、該担持されたニッケル触媒が、酸化物担体、触媒の重量に基づいて金属ニッケルとして計算して5〜80重量%のニッケル、および触媒の重量に基づいてMnO2として計算して0.1〜10重量%のマンガン促進剤を含む、前記方法。
- 触媒が、触媒の重量に基づいて金属ニッケルとして計算して25〜60重量%のニッケルを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 触媒が、触媒の重量に基づいて金属ニッケルとして計算して30〜50重量%のニッケルを含む、請求項2記載の方法。
- 触媒が、触媒の重量に基づいてMnO2として計算して0.5〜6重量%のマンガン促進剤を含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 触媒が、触媒の重量に基づいてMnO 2 として計算して1〜5重量%のマンガン促進剤を含む、請求項4記載の方法。
- 担体が酸化物担体である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 担体がシリカ、アルミナ、シリカ−アルミナ、チタニア、ジルコニアおよびそれらの組合せから選択される、請求項6記載の方法。
- 触媒の酸化物担体物質がシリカである、請求項7記載の方法。
- 触媒が、触媒の重量に基づいて計算して、10〜94.9重量%のシリカを含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 触媒が、触媒の重量に基づいて計算して、34〜74.5重量%のシリカを含む、請求項9記載の方法。
- 触媒が、触媒の重量に基づいて計算して、45〜69重量%のシリカを含む、請求項10記載の方法。
- 触媒が0.1〜50μmの平均粒子サイズを有する、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 触媒が小滴中に懸濁しており、該小滴が、触媒の酸化を防ぐのに有効な保護被覆層を形成している、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 該保護被覆層が脂肪物質から成る、請求項13記載の方法。
- 水素化が100〜400℃の温度で行われる、請求項1〜14のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 水素化が、3〜150バールの水素圧で行われる、請求項1〜15のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 担持ニッケル触媒が、触媒の重量に基づいて計算して45〜69重量%のシリカ、触媒の重量に基づいて金属ニッケルとして計算して30〜50重量%のニッケル、および触媒の重量に基づいてMnO2として計算して1〜5重量%のマンガン促進剤を含む、請求項1〜16のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 触媒が小滴中に懸濁しており、該小滴が、触媒の酸化を防ぐのに有効な保護被覆層を形成している、請求項17記載の方法。
- 該保護被覆層が脂肪物質から成る、請求項18記載の方法。
- 水素化が、該触媒を含む脂肪酸スラリー中で行われる、請求項1〜19のいずれか1項記載の方法。
