Description
また、位置決め部材のチューブ位置決め孔には、内径側に突出した頂部を塗料チューブの外周面に当接することにより該塗料チューブを支持する複数個の突起部を設けたから、位置決め部材のチューブ位置決め孔に塗料チューブの先端を挿入することにより、該塗料チューブの先端を位置決めすることができる。このときに、チューブ位置決め孔には、内径側に突出した頂部が塗料チューブの外周面に当接してなる複数個の突起部を設けているから、接触面積を小さくして摩擦抵抗を減らすことで、チューブ位置決め孔に塗料チューブを円滑に挿入することができる。
さらに、洗浄流体供給源から供給される洗浄流体は、接続部材の洗浄流体供給口、チューブ本体内の洗浄流体通路、位置決め部材の洗浄流体吐出口を通って流通し、該洗浄流体吐出口から回転霧化頭に向けて吐出することができる。これにより、塗料チューブの周囲に付着した塗料を洗浄流体によって洗浄することができる。さらに回転霧化頭に付着した塗料も洗浄することができる。
以下、本発明の実施の形態による回転霧化頭型塗装機を、添付図面に従って詳細に説明する。ここで、回転霧化頭型塗装機には、高電圧を印加して塗装を行う静電塗装機と、高電圧を印加することなく塗装を行う非静電塗装機とが存在する。これから述べる実施の形態では、溶剤系の塗料に対して直接的に高電圧を印加する静電塗装機を例に挙げて説明する。

Claims (8)
- エア駆動式のモータ(5)と、該モータ(5)に回転自在に支持され先端が該モータ(5)から前側に突出した中空の回転軸(6)と、該回転軸(6)の先端に取付けられ該回転軸(6)と一緒に回転する間に供給された塗料を噴霧する回転霧化頭(7)と、該回転霧化頭(7)に塗料を供給するために前記モータ(5)の後側から前記回転軸(6)内を通して該回転霧化頭(7)まで延びたフィードチューブ(11,21,31)とを備えてなる回転霧化頭型塗装機において、
前記フィードチューブ(11,21,31)は、
前記モータ(5)の後側に設けられ塗料供給源に接続された1個または複数個の塗料供給口(12C,12D,23C,23D,32A)と、該塗料供給口(12C,12D,23C,23D,32A)とは別個に洗浄流体供給源に接続された洗浄流体供給口(12E,34)とを有する接続部材(12,22,32)と、
中空筒体からなり基端が該接続部材(12,22,32)に接続され先端が前記回転軸(6)内を前記回転霧化頭(7)に向けて延びた長尺なチューブ本体(15,26,33)と、
該チューブ本体(15,26,33)の先端に設けられ軸方向に貫通する1個または複数個のチューブ位置決め孔(16A,16B,26B1,33C1)と、前記回転霧化頭(7)に向けて洗浄流体を吐出する洗浄流体吐出口(16D,26C,33D)とを有する位置決め部材(16,26B,33C)と、
前記チューブ本体(15,26,33)内を軸方向に延びて設けられると共に、基端(18A2,18B2,27B,28B,35B)が前記接続部材(12,22,32)の塗料供給口(12C,12D,23C,23D,32A)に接続され先端(18A3,18B3,27C,28C,35C)が前記位置決め部材(16,26B,33C)のチューブ位置決め孔(16A,16B,26B1,33C1)に挿通された1本または複数本の樹脂製の塗料チューブ(18A,18B,28,35)とからなり、
前記チューブ本体(15,26,33)内には、前記洗浄流体供給口(12E,34)と前記洗浄流体吐出口(16D,26C,33D)との間で洗浄流体が流通する洗浄流体通路(14A,29,36)を設け、
前記塗料チューブ(18A,18B,28,35)は、柔軟性および撥水性を有する樹脂材料を用いて内部が塗料通路(18A1,18B1,28A,35A)となる筒体として形成し、
前記位置決め部材(16,26B,33C)のチューブ位置決め孔(16A,16B,26B1,33C1)には、軸方向に延びると共に内径側に突出した頂部を前記塗料チューブ(18A,18B,28,35)の外周面に当接することにより該塗料チューブ(18A,18B,28,35)を支持する複数個の突起部(16C,26B2,33C2)を設ける構成としたことを特徴とする回転霧化頭型塗装機。 - 前記突起部(16C)の後端位置には、面取り部(16C1)を形成してなる請求項1に記載の回転霧化頭型塗装機。
- 前記洗浄流体通路(14A)は、前記チューブ本体(15)内を軸方向に延び前記洗浄流体供給口(12E)と前記洗浄流体吐出口(16D)との間を接続する洗浄流体チューブ(14)である請求項1または2に記載の回転霧化頭型塗装機。
- 前記洗浄流体通路(29,36)は、前記チューブ本体(26,33)の内周面と前記塗料チューブ(28,35)との間に形成された洗浄流体が流通する流通空間である請求項1または2に記載の回転霧化頭型塗装機。
- 前記各突起部(16C,26B2,33C2)によって前記チューブ位置決め孔(16A,16B,26B1,33C1)の内周面と前記塗料チューブ(18A,18B,28,35)の外周面との間に設けた隙間を前記洗浄流体吐出口(16D,26C,33D)として用いる構成としてなる請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の回転霧化頭型塗装機。
- 前記位置決め部材(16)には、前記回転霧化頭(7)と対面する先端位置に凹湾曲状をした凹曲面部(16E)を形成し、該凹曲面部(16E)には、前記チューブ位置決め孔(16A,16B)が開口する構成としてなる請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の回転霧化頭型塗装機。
- 前記チューブ本体(15)内には、前記塗料チューブ(18A,18B)の長さ方向の途中部位を保持する中間保持部材(13)を設ける構成としてなる請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の回転霧化頭型塗装機。
- 前記チューブ本体(15)内には、軸方向に延びた基端側が前記接続部材(12)に連結され、先端側が前記中間保持部材(13)に連結された洗浄流体チューブ(14)を設け、
該洗浄流体チューブ(14)内は、洗浄流体供給源から供給される洗浄流体が流通する洗浄流体通路(14A)として形成してなる請求項7に記載の回転霧化頭型塗装機。
