Description
本明細書において開示する実施形態のグリッパ製作法は、周知のリソグラフィ処理技術を利用するのが良い。さらに、グリッパ製作プロセスは、平板状能動装置製作プロセスと両立可能である。
Claims (5)
- 光ファイバアラインメントのための装置であって、
基板と、
前記基板上に設けられ、軸方向経路を定める光学素子と、を有し、前記軸方向経路に沿って光ファイバが差し向けられ、
前記装置は、前記基板上に設けられ、前記軸方向経路内に位置決めされた少なくとも1つのグリッパ要素を有し、
光ファイバを、前記光ファイバの傾斜した端面の縁が前記少なくとも1つのグリッパ要素に接触するまで前記軸方向経路に沿って動かすと、圧縮力を前記傾斜した端面の縁に加え、前記光ファイバが前記光学素子とアラインメントされるようになっており、前記光ファイバは、少なくとも1つのレーザ角度劈開された端面を有するレーザ角度劈開された光ファイバであり、
前記光ファイバの端面は、当該端面の一部が前記グリッパ要素に向かって進出するように傾斜しており、前記グリッパ要素の接触面は、当該接触面の上部が前記光ファイバに向かって進出するように傾斜している、
ことを特徴とする装置。 - 前記少なくとも1つのグリッパ要素は、前記光ファイバの前記軸方向経路に垂直に位置決めされている、
請求項1記載の装置。 - 前記少なくとも1つのグリッパ要素は、ポリマーグリッパから成る、
請求項1記載の装置。 - 前記基板は、前記軸方向経路に平行に位置決めされると共に前記光ファイバを部分的に拘束するよう構成された少なくとも1対の互いに間隔を置いた拘束部材を更に有し、前記少なくとも1対の互いに間隔を置いた拘束部材は、前記光ファイバを粗くアラインメントするよう構成され、前記少なくとも1つのグリッパ要素は、前記光ファイバを前記光学素子により正確にアラインメントする、
請求項1記載の装置。 - 前記少なくとも1つの拘束部材は、少なくとも1つのポリマーグリッパ又は接着剤のうち少なくとも一方を含む、
