(ポリイミド樹脂A):(ポリイミド樹脂B+ポリイミド樹脂C)が、質量比で30:70〜70:30であるベース樹脂に、
前記ベース樹脂の体積に対して、黒鉛を20〜50体積%、高導電性カーボンブラック粒子を3体積%以上及びCNTを0.5体積%以上配合してなることを特徴とするポリイミドチューブである。
円柱状芯体の外面(外表面)又は円筒状芯体の外面もしくは内面(内表面)に、ディスペンサー供給部の吐出口を近接又は接触し、
前記芯体を回転させながら、かつ前記吐出口を芯体の回転軸方向に相対的に移動させながら、
前記吐出口より、前記円柱状芯体の外面上又は円筒状芯体の外面上もしくは内面上に、ポリイミドワニス分散液を連続的に供給して塗布層を形成する工程、
前記塗布層の形成後、前記塗布層を固化する工程、及び
前記固化後、前記芯体から塗布層を脱型する工程を有することを特徴とするポリイミドチューブの製造方法である。
・U−ワニスS−301:宇部興産社製、比重1.446;前記式(A)で表される繰り返し単位を有するポリイミド樹脂A(剛性に優れたポリイミド樹脂)を形成するポリイミド前駆体を、溶剤(N−メチルピロリドン)に濃度18%で溶解したワニス(以下、「UワニスS」との略号で示す。)。
・Pyre ML RC−5019:I.S.T社製;前記式(C)で表される繰り返し単位を有するポリイミド樹脂C(可撓性に優れた柔軟なポリイミド樹脂)を形成するポリイミド前駆体を、溶剤(N−メチルピロリドン)に濃度15%で溶解したワニス(以下、「Pyre ML」との略号で示す。)。
・BF−3AK:粒径3μm
・BF−10AK:粒径10μm
・BF−40AK:粒径30μm
・VGCF:直径150nmφ、長さ8μm、比重2.0
・VGCF−X:直径15nmφ、長さ3μm、比重2.0
サイズがφ30×350mmであり厚みが100μmのポリイミドチューブの両端(350mm離れている)に、テスターを当てて電気抵抗測定を行い、測定値が安定するまで下がったところの値を読みとり抵抗値とした。
各実施例、各比較例で得られるポリイミドワニス分散液を膜状に成形した後、400℃に加熱してポリイミド前駆体をイミド化し、厚み100μmのポリイミド組成物の膜を形成した。この膜より幅15mmのリボン状に切り出し測定用のサンプルとした。得られたサンプルを用い、MIT形耐折度試験機により、以下に示す測定条件で、破断するまでの往復折曲げ回数を測定した。測定は5回行い、平均値をMIT試験の測定値とした。
・角度:45°(両振り90°)
・折り曲げ速度:175cpm
・荷重:300g
作製したポリイミドチューブを実機の複写機に組み入れ、オフセット発生の有無を、以下に示す基準で評価する。
◎:オフセットが全く発生しない
○:オフセットが殆ど発生しない
△:オフセットが発生するが問題のないレベルである
×:オフセット発生し問題が出るレベルである
作製したポリイミドチューブを実機の複写機に組み入れ、通紙を行い通紙後のポリイミドチューブの状態を以下に示す基準で評価する。
◎:通紙250K枚でポリイミドチューブに破壊を生じない。
○:通紙200K枚でポリイミドチューブに破壊を生じないが、250K枚では破壊が見られる。
×:通紙200K枚以下で破壊が見られる。
サイズがφ30×350mmであり厚みが100μmのポリイミドチューブを引張圧縮測定機で、下記の測定条件で、半分につぶしたときの荷重を測定した。
・つぶし速度:200mm/min、つぶし量:15mm、最大荷重:10N
表1〜3に示す組成比(固形分基準;質量比)でUワニスS及びPyre MLを混合したポリイミドワニスに、表1〜3に示す組成(固形分全体積基準:ワニス中の固形分の体積を100体積%としたときの体積%)で黒鉛、高導電性カーボンブラック粒子及びCNTを加え、撹拌機で予備撹拌し、3本ロールミルで配合後、真空脱泡を行い、前記各成分を含有するポリイミドワニス分散液を得た。得られたポリイミドワニス分散液を用いて前記のようにしてMIT試験(耐折耐久性試験)を行った。その結果を表1〜3に示す。

Claims (6)
- ポリイミド樹脂A:(ポリイミド樹脂B+ポリイミド樹脂C)が、質量比で50:50〜60:40であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリイミドチューブ。
- 前記ベース樹脂の体積に対して、黒鉛を30〜40体積%、高導電性カーボンブラック粒子が5〜10体積%、カーボンナノチューブが1〜3体積%以上配合してなることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のポリイミドチューブ。
- 厚みが10〜150μmであることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のポリイミドチューブ。
- 請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のポリイミドチューブの製造方法であって、
円柱状芯体の外面又は円筒状芯体の外面もしくは内面に、ディスペンサー供給部の吐出口を近接又は接触し、
前記芯体を回転させながら、かつ前記吐出口を芯体の回転軸方向に相対的に移動させながら、
前記吐出口より、前記円柱状芯体の外面上又は円筒状芯体の外面上もしくは内面上に、ポリイミドワニスを連続的に供給して塗布層を形成する工程、
前記塗布層の形成後、前記塗布層を固化する工程、及び
前記固化後、前記芯体から塗布層を脱型する工程を有することを特徴とするポリイミドチューブの製造方法。 - 請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のポリイミドチューブをベルト基材とし、該ベルト基材の外周面に、直接または接着剤層を介して、フッ素樹脂層が設けられていることを特徴とする定着ベルト。
