Description
ENB系EPDM層とは、5−エチリデン−2−ノルボネン(ENB)を第三成分とするエチレン−プロピレン−ジエン三元共重合体(EPDM)である。なお、本発明におけるENB系EPDM層には、第三成分としてexo−ジシクロペンタジエン(DCP)、endo−ジシクロペンタジエン(EDCP)、及びジシクロペンタジエン(DCPD)等のジシクロペンタジエンを含まない。すなわち、本発明のENB系EPDM層は、第三成分をENBのみとしている。
シリコーンゴム層には、各種公知のシリコーンゴムを用いることができる。シリコーンゴムの架橋の形態としては、有機過酸化物を開始剤として架橋されていることが好ましい。この架橋形態によると、有機過酸化物架橋によるENB系EPDM層との接着性が良好になるからである。また、ゴム成形物(積層体)の成形性にも有利である。ここでの有機過酸化物としては、例えば、ベンゾイルパーオキサイド、1,1−ジテレブチルパーオキシ3,3,5−トリメチルシクロヘキサン、ジクミルパーオキサイド等が挙げられる。他に白金系化合物を触媒とするヒドロシリル化による架橋や、縮合反応による架橋や、紫外線架橋等も用いることができる。
本発明の積層体は、基本的にはシリコーンゴム層とENB系EPDM層とのみを積層すればよいが、少なくともシリコーンゴム層とENB系EPDM層を備えていれば、必要に応じてその他の層も積層することもできる。その他の層としては、例えば熱可塑性エラストマーからなる樹脂層が挙げられる。樹脂層を形成する熱可塑性エラストマーとしては、スチレン−ジエン熱可塑性ブロック共重合体、あるいは熱可塑性ウレタンエラストマー、熱可塑性オレフィン系エラストマー、熱可塑性ポリエステル−エーテル共重合体エラストマーなどが挙げられ、これらの一種又は二種以上を使用できる。このような樹脂層を積層すれば、積層体にシール性を付与できる。
○:ロール巻き付きがよく、ゴムだまりの形成が良好
△:ロール巻き付きに難があるが、ゴムだまりは形成される
×:ロール巻き付きが悪く、ゴムだまりが形成されない

Claims (1)
- シリコーンゴム層と、第三成分として5−エチリデン−2−ノルボネン(ENB)のみを含有し、DCP系EPDM及び塩素化ポリエチレンを含有しないENB系EPDM層とを備え、
前記ENB系EPDM層を形成する未架橋混合物のムーニー粘度MV1+4(125℃)が35以上66.9以下であり、
前記未架橋混合物は、ムーニー粘度MV1+4(125℃)が60以上の高粘度ゴム成分と、ムーニー粘度MV1+4(125℃)が30以下の低粘度ゴム成分とを含み、
前記高粘度ゴム成分と前記低粘度ゴム成分との混合比が、75:25〜25:75であり、
前記ENB系EPDM層が有機過酸化物によって架橋された、積層体。
