Description
Claims (9)
- 単一の光受信器アセンブリであって、
入力光信号軸を規定する第1水平面であって、光ファイバを支持するための溝を有する第1水平面と、
拡がる入力光信号を捕らえて平行光信号に変換するように配置され、前記単一光受信器アセンブリの垂直壁部に成形されたコリメーティングレンズであって、追加的な位置調節を必要とすることなく当該コリメーティングレンズに対して前記光ファイバが位置決めされるように前記溝が前記第1水平面に配置されている、コリメーティングレンズと、
前記コリメーティングレンズを越えたところに配置され、前記平行光信号を前記入力信号軸から離れる方向の下方に方向転換させるための傾斜壁面と、
前記方向転換された平行光信号を捕らえて、この平行光信号を、当該単一光受信器アセンブリとともに使われる感光デバイスのために焦点に向けて収束させるように配置された収束レンズとを備え、
前記第1水平面および前記傾斜壁面が、当該単一光受信器アセンブリの単一構造体の一部分であり、前記コリメーティングレンズおよび前記収束レンズが、前記単一構造体と同じ材料で前記単一構造体と一体のものとして形成されていることを特徴とする単一光受信器アセンブリ。 - 請求項1に記載の単一光受信器アセンブリにおいて、
前記受信器アセンブリが透明物質からなることを特徴とする単一光受信器アセンブリ。 - 請求項2に記載の単一光受信器アセンブリにおいて、
前記透明物質が熱可塑性ポリイミド樹脂であることを特徴とする単一光受信器アセンブリ。 - 請求項2に記載の単一光受信器アセンブリにおいて、
前記コリメーティングおよび前記集束レンズが前記アセンブリ内の一体構成要素として成形されるように、前記受信器アセンブリが成形可能な透明物質からなることを特徴とする単一光受信器アセンブリ。 - 請求項1に記載の単一光受信器アセンブリにおいて、
前記溝が、V字型溝を含むことを特徴とする単一光受信器アセンブリ。 - 請求項5に記載の単一光受信器アセンブリにおいて、
前記V字型溝が、光ファイバの裸端部を支持するための内側の浅い部分と、光ファイバの被覆部を支持するための外側のより深い部分とを含むことを特徴とする単一光受信器アセンブリ。 - 請求項1に記載の単一光受信器アセンブリにおいて、
前記傾斜壁が約45°の角度に向けられ、平行にされた光信号を前記感光デバイスに向けて下方に方向転換することを特徴とする単一光受信器アセンブリ。 - N個(Nは複数)の別個の感光デバイスとともに使用される単一光受信器アセンブリであって、
N個の光ファイバを支持するための溝を有する水平面と、
N個のコリメーティングレンズとを備え、各レンズが別々の拡がる入力光信号を捕らえて、別々の拡がる入力光信号をそれぞれ平行光信号に変換するように配置され、前記N個のコリメーティングレンズがN個の平行光信号を形成するとともに、前記N個のコリメーティングレンズが前記単一光受信器アセンブリの単一の垂直壁部内に成形されており、
前記溝は、追加的な位置調節を必要とすることなく前記コリメーティングレンズに対して前記光ファイバが位置決めされるように前記水平面に配置されており、
前記単一光受信器アセンブリは、さらに、
前記N個のコリメーティングレンズを越えたところに配置され、前記N個の平行光信号を前記入力信号軸から離れる方向の下方に方向転換させるための傾斜壁面と、
前記N個の方向転換された平行光信号の1個ずつを捕らえて、それら平行光信号を、前記N個の別個の感光デバイスに関連付けられるN個の焦点に向けて収束させるように配置されたN個の収束レンズとを備え、
前記水平面および前記傾斜壁面が、当該単一光受信器アセンブリの単一構造体の一部分であり、前記コリメーティングレンズおよび前記収束レンズが、前記単一構造体と同じ材料で前記単一構造体と一体のものとして形成されていることを特徴とする単一光受信器アセンブリ。 - 請求項8に記載の単一光受信器アセンブリにおいて、
前記水平面は、N個のV字型溝を含み、各V字型溝が、前記N個のコリメーティングレンズの1個ずつと一直線に受動的に配列されるように形成されていることを特徴とする単一光受信器アセンブリ。
