Description
しかも、本発明の光路変換型光結合素子では、前記樹脂成形体の、前記全反射面と反対側の部分に窪みを形成しているので、成形時における前記全反射面でのヒケや樹脂成形体の反りなどを最小限に抑えることができる。さらに、前記窪みの内面を前記全反射面と平行に形成し、前記2つの面に形成された各レンズの光軸に沿った各レンズから前記全反射面までの距離と、前記窪みの内面から前記全反射面までの距離とがほぼ等しくなるようにすれば、全反射面のヒケと共にレンズのヒケも低減させることができるという利点がある。

Claims (4)
- 樹脂成形体にほぼ直交する2つの面と前記2つの面に対してほぼ45°の角度をなす全反射面とを形成し、前記2つの面にそれぞれ複数のレンズを一体に設けた光路変換型光結合素子において、
前記樹脂成形体の、前記全反射面と反対側の部分に窪みを形成し、前記窪みの内面を前記全反射面と平行に形成し、前記2つの面に形成された各レンズの光軸に沿った各レンズから前記全反射面までの距離と、前記窪みの内面から前記全反射面までの距離とがほぼ等しくなるようにしたことを特徴とする光路変換型光結合素子。 - 前記各レンズは、ほぼ1点から出たようにして入射した光を平行光に変換させるレンズであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の光路変換型光結合素子。
- 前記2つの面にそれぞれ、前記レンズの焦点距離にほぼ等しい厚みのスペーサを一体に突出させたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の光路変換型光結合素子。
- 前記2つの面にそれぞれ、接続時に位置決め用として用いられる複数の孔を開口させたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の光路変換型光結合素子。
