Description
(i)該組成物に、基体に付着後に、(a)少なくとも約6ヶ月保持される耐湿性、(b)50wt%エタノール/水溶液に耐性、そして(c)光沢度50以下の光沢レベル、を与える疎水性の金属酸化物を用意すること、ならびに
(ii)該金属酸化物を樹脂と混合して、表面被覆用組成物を形成させることを含むつや消し方法を提供する。
R3Si−O−SiR3 (I)
R3Si−N(H)−SiR3 (II)
の化合物から得られる。
ここで遊離基Rは同一もしくは異なったものであり、そしてそれぞれ水素、または非反応性、有機、線状、分枝、環状、飽和もしくは不飽和、芳香族もしくはヘテロ芳香族の遊離基、好ましくはC1〜C18のアルキルもしくはC6〜C14のアリール、そしてもっと好ましくはC1〜C6のアルキル、シクロアルキル、フェニル、ビニルもしくはアクリルである。等しく適切な疎水性部分は式R1 4-nSiClnもしくはR1 4-nSi(OR2)nのシランから得られることができ、ここでn=1〜4、そしてR1およびR2は同一もしくは異なり、そしてそれぞれ水素、または非反応性、有機、線状、分枝、環状、飽和もしくは不飽和、芳香族もしくはヘテロ芳香族遊離基、好ましくはC1〜C18のアルキルもしくはC6〜C14のアリール、そしてもっと好ましくはC1〜C6のアルキル、シクロへキシル、もしくはフェニルである。遊離基は、さらにフッ素もしくは塩素のようなハロゲン置換基を含みうる。最も好ましくは疎水性部分はトリメチルシリル、ビニルジメチルシリル、アクリルジメチルシリル、もしくはジメチルジクロロシリルである。
(i)該組成物に、基体に付着後に、(a)少なくとも約6ヶ月保持される耐湿性、(b)50wt%エタノール/水溶液に耐性、そして(c)光沢度50以下の光沢レベル、を与える疎水性の金属酸化物を用意すること、ならびに
(ii)該金属酸化物を樹脂と混合して、表面被覆用組成物を形成させることを含むつや消し方法を提供する。任意には、樹脂および金属酸化物はキャリアとともに混合されうる。樹脂、疎水性金属酸化物、キャリア、および組成物特性は本発明の表面被覆用組成物に関して上述されたとおりである。
例1
この例は、従来の表面被覆用組成物と比較して、本発明の表面被覆用組成物の優れた耐水およびアルコール性を例示する。

この例は、従来の表面被覆用組成物と比較して、本発明の表面被覆用組成物の優れた水およびアルコール耐性を例示する。
Claims (5)
- 表面被覆用組成物をつや消しし、そして組成物の耐湿および耐化学性を向上させる方法であり:
(i)疎水性のシリカエーロゲルを用意すること、ならびに
(ii)該シリカエーロゲルを樹脂と混合して、表面被覆用組成物を形成させることを含み、
該シリカエーロゲルは、ヒドロゲルの表面をシリル化剤で修飾し、表面を修飾されたゲルを乾燥することにより調製され、2〜15μmのメジアン粒径を有し、そして基体に付着後に、表面被覆用組成物は(a)少なくとも6ヶ月保持される耐湿性、(b)50wt%エタノール/水溶液への耐性、および(c)光沢度50以下の光沢レベル、を有する、つや消し方法。 - シリカエーロゲルが少なくとも約40vol%の疎水性の程度を有する請求項1に記載のつや消し方法。
- 樹脂が、ポリエステル、エポキシ、ウレタン、セルロース、アルキド、アクリル、ならびにそれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれる請求項1または2に記載のつや消し方法。
- 表面被覆用組成物はキャリアを含む請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のつや消し方法。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のつや消し方法により製造された表面被覆用組成物。
