Description
ハイビーム用の可変配光パターンを形成するための灯具ユニットと、車両前方の地形を検知する検知手段と、上記灯具ユニットの配光制御を行う配光制御手段と、を備えてなる車両用照明灯具において、
上記灯具ユニットは、投影レンズと、この投影レンズの後側焦点よりも後方側に配置された光源と、この光源からの光を上記投影レンズへ向けて反射させるリフレクタと、このリフレクタと上記投影レンズとの間において上記リフレクタからの反射光のうち上記可変配光パターンの左右中央領域を形成するための光を遮蔽し得るように配置された可動シェードと、この可動シェードを、該可動シェードにより暗部となっている上記左右中央領域の左右両側に1対の上下カットオフラインを形成可能な第1遮光位置と、この第1遮光位置から前後方向に変位した第2遮光位置との間で移動させるアクチュエータと、を備えた構成となっており、
上記配光制御手段は、上記検知手段によって上記上下カットオフラインが映り込んでしまう地形が検知されたとき、上記アクチュエータを駆動して上記可動シェードを上記第1遮光位置から上記第2遮光位置に移動させるように構成されている、ことを特徴とするものである。

Claims (3)
- ハイビーム用の可変配光パターンを形成するための灯具ユニットと、車両前方の地形を検知する検知手段と、上記灯具ユニットの配光制御を行う配光制御手段と、を備えてなる車両用照明灯具において、
上記灯具ユニットは、投影レンズと、この投影レンズの後側焦点よりも後方側に配置された光源と、この光源からの光を上記投影レンズへ向けて反射させるリフレクタと、このリフレクタと上記投影レンズとの間において上記リフレクタからの反射光のうち上記可変配光パターンの左右中央領域を形成するための光を遮蔽し得るように配置された可動シェードと、この可動シェードを、該可動シェードにより暗部となっている上記左右中央領域の左右両側に1対の上下カットオフラインを形成可能な第1遮光位置と、この第1遮光位置から前後方向に変位した第2遮光位置との間で移動させるアクチュエータと、を備えた構成となっており、
上記配光制御手段は、上記検知手段によって上記上下カットオフラインが映り込んでしまう地形が検知されたとき、上記アクチュエータを駆動して上記可動シェードを上記第1遮光位置から上記第2遮光位置に移動させるように構成されている、ことを特徴とする車両用照明灯具。 - 上記検知手段は、車両前方の光景を撮像する車載カメラで構成されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用照明灯具。
- 上記アクチュエータは、上記可動シェードを上記リフレクタからの反射光に対する遮蔽を解除する遮光解除位置へ移動させ得るように構成されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の車両用照明灯具。
