Abstract
Description
図1は、実施形態に係る携帯端末100の外観図である。携帯端末100は、例えば、スマートホン、タブレットPC、ゲーム端末などの携帯端末である。なお、図1には、実施形態に係る携帯端末100としてスマートホンを図示している。以下、スマートホンを例として実施形態に係る携帯端末100について説明するが、本発明は、スマートホン以外の携帯端末にも適用可能である。
第1の操作モードは、ゲームを自動又は半自動(以下、自動及び半自動を総称して「自動」という)で操作させるためのモードである。第1の操作モードは、例えば、電車内において鞄を持っていたり、つり革につかまっていたりと、一方の手が塞がっている場合に使用されるモードである。携帯端末100が縦向きである場合、携帯端末100は、この第1の操作モードに設定される。図3Aは、第1のモード、つまり携帯端末100を縦向きにした場合の表示例を示した図である。なお、参考のために垂直方向及び水平方向を図3Aに示した。
第2の操作モードは、ゲームを手動で操作させるためのモードである。第2の操作モードは、両手が使用できる場合に使用されるモードである。携帯端末100が横向きである場合、携帯端末100は、この第2の操作モードに設定される。図3Bは、第2のモード、つまり携帯端末100を横向きにした場合の表示例を示した図である。なお、参考のために垂直方向及び水平方向を図3Bに示した。
上記実施形態で説明した携帯端末100に、検出部105の機能を有効とする操作ボタンを設けた構成としてもよい。この操作ボタンは、携帯端末100の筐体110に設けてもよいし、表示装置120に表示するようにしてもよい。
Claims (7)
- ゲームに使用される携帯端末であって、
縦長で矩形状の筐体と、
前記筐体に設けられ前記ゲームの表示を行う表示部と、
前記携帯端末の向きを検出する検出部と、
前記検出部で検出される前記携帯端末の向きに応じて、前記ゲームの操作モードを切り替える制御部と、
を備え、
前記携帯端末は、前記筐体の向きが縦向きでも横向きでも操作可能であり、
前記制御部は、
前記検出部で検出される前記携帯端末の向きに応じて、前記ゲームを自動又は半自動で操作させる第1の操作モードと、前記ゲームを手動で操作させる第2の操作モードとを切り替え、
前記携帯端末が縦向きの場合、前記第1の操作モードとし、前記携帯端末が横向きの場合、前記第2の操作モードとすることを特徴とする携帯端末。 - 前記検出部の機能を有効とする操作を受け付ける操作ボタンをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の携帯端末。
- 前記操作ボタンは、前記表示部に表示されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の携帯端末。
- ゲームに使用される携帯端末の制御方法であって、
前記携帯端末は、縦長で矩形状の筐体、及び前記筐体に設けられ前記ゲームの表示を行う表示部を備え、
前記携帯端末の向きを検出するステップと、
検出される前記携帯端末の向きに応じて、前記ゲームの操作モードを切り替えるステップと、
を有し、
前記操作モードを切り替えるステップは、
検出される前記携帯端末の向きに応じて、前記ゲームを自動又は半自動で操作させる第1の操作モードと、前記ゲームを手動で操作させる第2の操作モードとを切り替え、
前記携帯端末が縦向きの場合、前記第1の操作モードとし、前記携帯端末が横向きの場合、前記第2の操作モードとすることを特徴とする携帯端末の制御方法。 - 前記携帯端末の向きを検出する機能を有効とする操作を受け付けるステップをさらに有し、
前記携帯端末の向きを検出する機能を有効とする操作を受け付けた場合に、前記第1,第2の操作モードを切り替えることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の携帯端末の制御方法。 - ゲームに使用される携帯端末によって実行されるプログラムであって、
前記携帯端末は、縦長で矩形状の筐体、及び前記筐体に設けられ前記ゲームの表示を行う表示部を備え、
前記携帯端末を、
前記携帯端末の向きを検出する検出部、
前記検出部で検出される前記携帯端末の向きに応じて、前記ゲームの操作モードを切り替える制御部、
として動作させ、
前記制御部は、
前記検出部で検出される前記携帯端末の向きに応じて、前記ゲームを自動又は半自動で操作させる第1の操作モードと、前記ゲームを手動で操作させる第2の操作モードとを切り替え、
前記携帯端末が縦向きの場合、前記第1の操作モードとし、前記携帯端末が横向きの場合、前記第2の操作モードとすることを特徴とするプログラム。 - 前記携帯端末を、
前記検出部の機能を有効とする操作を受け付ける操作受付部として動作させることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のプログラム。
